Refract has released the final version of its spiritual successor to Nitronic Rush, Distance. Distance is a futuristic arcade racing with parkour elements and in order to celebrate it, the team has also released the game’s launch trailer.
Distance features an adventure mode (short single player experience) in which players drive into the heart of a dark, mysterious city as you pursue an ominous threat. The game also comes with an Arcade mode in which players race ghosts to take on the leaderboards’ best, as well as an online mode that supports up to 12 players.
Distance also features a powerful level editor via which players can create levels from within the game and share them with players around the world. According to the developers, over 2,500 levels have already been shared on Steam Workshop.
Enjoy!

You can play it online according to Steam
it’s a game that is simple to understand, but hard to master. Playing since first version and I’m still unable to finish some of the hardest level included in their list. Also, the feature will come back soon but it had the option to play custom local music with light that react to it during sessions. Psytrance is one of the best fit such a psychedelic game! Try it, it just jawbreaking at time. Art style is top notch and the community has created a lot of m a g n i f i c i e n t tracks.
Is there a different camera setting, like higher up, so you can actually see where you’re going? I wouldn’t want to play the game like this, no matter how cool it looks.
