Mortal Royale is a fantasy battle royale game supporting 1000 players

Star Vault AB has announced a new battle royale game that is set in a fantasy setting and supports up to 1000 players, called
Mortal Royale. The sign ups for the game’s alpha phase have opened and its development team has released a new trailer that you can find below.

In Mortal Royale, players are thrown into a massive world in the eye of a deadly chaotic storm that is slowly closing in on them. Players can find and tame mounts to give them not only speed but a powerful advantage on the battlefield. Players can also scavenge the lands for armor, weapons,bows and powerful magic to execute the unworthy and stand as the final surviving champion when the storms finally settles.

The game will be coming to Steam Early Access in January 2019 and will feature melee, ranged, magic and mounted combat. It also promises to come with a deep combat system with individual hitboxes all with their own armor mitigation, hundreds of weapons, 21 different armor sets with 10 individual pieces that can be mixed within a million combinations and 60+ powerful spells.

  1. Wait so this is Battle Royale version of Mortal Online? Mortal Online feels terrible to play! Well and from looks of it this look like same engine and everything. Fact that MO is an sandbox MMO is its only saving grace IMHO.

    Would much rather if they tried remaking Mortal Online on some new engine.

  2. Why does every game have to be about killing? Why can’t these people just hug it out? 1000 PvP. Most hugs win.
