YouTube’s ‘Punish – Latest Gameplay Trailers!’ has shared a video, showing 12 minutes of gameplay footage from the Gamescom 2018 build of Devil’s Hunt. Devil’s Hunt is a new third-person action game in which players will go to hell and back in the battle between Demons and Angels. Players will become Desmond, a man with demonic powers who can decide the fate of our world by joining either side of the conflict.
Based on the original hit Polish fantasy novel, “Equilibrium,” Devil’s Hunt promises to bring to life the eternal fight between light and darkness as all-out war between Demons and Angels appears imminent with the mortal world as the battleground. Desmond can fight using his fists and claws, making use of the skills his demonic and human sides offer—but ultimately he must choose which side he will follow.

It will be interesting to see how well the GTX 2080 Ti sells. I remember when the $1,000 Kepler Titan released and I wondered who would pay so much. Well, apparently plenty of people did because Huang said “it sold like hotcakes”. Due to compute ability it did serve a work purpose also but the Maxwell Titan and Pascal Titan were just gaming cards for $1,100 and $1,200.
Some people have proven that they are willing to pay a lot for the best.
In all seriousness, if the 2080Ti has a 50% improvement in performance over the 1080Ti in VR apps, then I’ll get one.
I guess one way to look at it is that it’s 70% more money than a 1080 Ti when released for possibly 50% more performance but that’s the way it always is with Flagship cards. Diminishing returns on money spent. People that want cutting edge tech have to pay a lot for it.
tbh though I wasn’t expecting $1,200.
I’ll pay that. Oculus is coming out with the first premium standalone VR headset in early 2019, but I also want a high-end desktop PC VR solution for the next 2-3 years until foveated rendering is implemented into standalone headsets, leveling the gap in visual quality between standalone VR and PCVR.
My oldest son is hoping I upgrade because if I do, he gets the 980Ti in my work PC. lol
That’s what I have right now. It’s still a solid card for up to 1440p.
My son is rocking my old 680 and his games look gorgeous. It’s a great time to be a PC gamer.
Is it not already selling well? I thought all the pre orders for all manufacturers were sold out?
EVGA, Amazon, Newegg and Nvidia’s store are showing none available even for preorder. The 2080 Ti is being limited to one per household on EVGA’s store. Could be a sign that they will be scarce at first.
I hope we don’t see a return to price gouging by retailers.
