Exciting times everyone. Following the news about Cyberpunk 2077’s presence at this year’s E3, it appears that another anticipated title will be revealed during the biggest gaming event. And that other title is Remedy’s new game, Project 7.
As 505 Games revealed, it will be giving press the first hands-off look at Remedy’s new game. We expect 505 Games and Remedy to also officially announce the game’s title (as Project 7 is obviously a working title).
505 Games did not reveal any additional details about Project 7. From what we know so far, Project 7 will be a new multi-platform cinematic third-person that will be set in a new Remedy-created universe and will offer a long-lasting experience. It will also target a 2019 release.
Stay tuned for more!

Too bad it won’t be Alan Wake 2. What a waste.
I still don’t see what people see in Alan Wake, the game is as generic as it can be outside the writing.
It’s a good game, nothing incredible, but it remains much better than the trash they throw us today.
yup the gameplay is a joke but i would take a alan wake 2 if they made the gameplay better.
I forced myself to finish Alan Wake to see the ending or the last boss fight. The game was kinda bland.
When Remedy said that Alan Wake was “made to be played with a gamepad while sitting on a couch” that’s when I swore off ever supporting them in the future as a developer. Their claim was one of the dumbest, dodgiest, laziest explanations as to why AW was console exclusive at the time.
Apparently it is too hard to say they coudn’t port at the time due to MS temporary exclusivity contract or just say “no plans to port it at this time sorry”
Remedy made a deal with the devil with MS so eff ’em.
“made to be played with a gamepad while sitting on a couch”
This is quantum break. Guns are intentionally inaccurate to force the players to use time powers.
Alan Wake is just another action game.
i thought so as well but if you progress enough you’ll start to like it and notice small attention to details which has been core of what remedy does best, add phenomenal authenticity and atmosphere to that and you’ve got a masterpiece.
Yup, Deadly Premonition is better (ok, Alan Wake shooting is better, but that was pretty basic)
Alan Wake was a great game IMHO…loved it, both gameplay and story wise…but I do think a sequel is not required.
“multi-platform cinematic third-person”
just stop right there, not one good thing about any of that.

I wonder why no one ported Max Payne 1 to MP 2
I was generally hyped for remedy’s games before quantum break.
Never played it, was it bad?
Basically an interactive movie.
Technical mess at least the first months, and it was also downgraded iirc, courtesy of consoles.
How was it downgraded if it was originally a MS exclusive?
Basically a movie disguised as a game. The worst part about it is that its mechanics were designed for a gamepad. Movement with a mouse and keyboard is clunky.
Alan wake was honestly ok, quantum break on the other hand…
alan wake was great, quantum break had a very satisfying gameplay but focus was way too much on story instead which i blame microshaft for.
I just really liked the atmosphere and sound track in Alan Wake. I’m glad they didn’t pull a Rockstar and rip the music off my computer or steam download when the licence expired. I enjoyed the downtime sections that were scattered throughout. It did drag on a bit towards the end though. I didn’t really like the DLC cause it got rid of those downtime interludes. I’m afraid if they did make a new one it will just be straight up action like the DLCs with machine guns and assault rifles and what not.
“will offer a long-lasting experience.”
So doe that mean long game or “cinematic” “emotional story” stuff?
Probably the latter. Remedy never makes a game that is more than 9 hours long.
I hope it’s a battle royale game with pay-to-win mechanics.
Hopefully one day we will look back on this period in gaming and be able to laugh about it but I think we’ve got at least another year of Battle Royale mania ahead of us.
In the future, if we’re lucky, all games will be battle royale.
I think I would rather have a root canal without novacaine than that ; )
All dentist’s visits will be pay to win.

A battle royal CARD game
off topic ( not much )
*** Graphics card pricing may finally go down*****
theres a lot of site reporting now.

download max payne 2, download this mod (moddb(dot)com/mods/payne-evolution)
thank me later. remedy is my favorite developer of all time followed by obsidian, i hate story focused games specially if they’re unskippable but i always have room for more remedy games.
i prefer true matrix and matrixed reality.
it’s not my favorite mod, my favorite is payne effects 3 but i generally prefer subtle mods which enhance gaming experiences a lot while remain authentic. that being said, the real world mod for max payne one is one of my favorite mods as well, it doesn’t ruin the atmosphere and it’s unique.
In my eyes Alan wake is a good title, even for higher standards, the story is ok, the gameplay is meh, but overall i’d say it’s a solid 7/10.
I’ve been playing doom 3 bfg lately, and there’s really nothing that would make me prefer it over the 2015 Doom, games like these, have simple gameplay, so the focus easily goes on the technical side, and doom 2015 is superior over any previous doom in anyway, but even level design and vibe.
6 of 28 games 505 Games have released on Steam have gone DRM free elsewhere so I am ok with this. I’ve seen worse odds of a DRM free release.
Would like to see what they would come up with next (I know its not gonna be something drastic) w
