Demo for dark psychological thriller, Past Cure, now available on Steam + Official PC Requirements

The demo for Phantom 8’s third-person dark psychological thriller, Past Cure, is currently available for download on Steam. Furthermore, the team also revealed the game’s official PC requirements that you can view below.

According to the PC specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-2400 or an AMD FX-8320 with 4GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX670 or an AMD Radeon HD7870. Phantom 8 recommends an Intel Core i7-5820K or an AMD FX-8350 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050 or an AMD Radeon R9 270X.

Past Cure promises to be a cinematic, story-driven experience where the player follows the struggle of a broken man searching for the missing pieces of his mind. With intense cutscenes and intriguing story items throughout the levels, the game will challenge the player to use mind-bending mental abilities to survive.

  1. Kind of ODD system specs, if you check the CPU requirements. It seems that this game can be mostly CPU-bound or what ?

    Or more dependent on number of CORES/threads, but how game’s engine scales well, remains to be seen when the full game is released ?

    A 6 core/12 thread i7-5820K processor paired with the GTX 1050/R9 270X ? The GTX 1050 is just an entry-level GPU, and the 5820K is surely a high-end CPU.

  2. game for console . Triied on steam:

    – we can’t change graphic parameters
    – back space to esc —> wtf
    – we can’t change keys on keyboard

    bad.

    1. That is crazy 🙁 , if you are going to put out a demo might as well make sure it works properly.

      Still going to give it a try though had my eye on it, thanks for the heads up.
