Forbidden Forgiveness is a new Unreal Engine 4-powered psychological horror game, first screenshots

GeekyMouse has shared the first details and screenshots for its upcoming psychological horror game, Forbidden Forgiveness. Forbidden Forgiveness is as first-person horror game that promises to feature unique puzzles, and will be powered by Unreal Engine 4.

In Forbidden Forgiveness, the player will be able to defend himself and, sometimes, he will have to run in order to survive. Players will also be able to travel between different dimensions that will affect the story and the gameplay, and the game will also feature a number of boss fights.

Forbidden Forgiveness is currently planned for a 2018 release on current-gen platforms.

    1. I’m not bothered by lack of combat itself, it just needs to have SOME gameplay mechanic and not just be a walking simulator, I’ve gotten extremely tired of walking sims. The article mentions puzzles, if you combine that with a well designed level structure, this could actually be good even without combat, I mean, imagine for example an OG Resident Evil without combat, that wouldn’t be so much of a difference, in RE you just ran past most zombies anyway and saved your resources for bosses, that could easily be replaced with some other resource management mechanic that doesn’t involve combat.

    2. When Scorn comes out in October and if it’s actually good. It’s a horror game that actually has weapons, combat, and seems to be highly influenced by H.R Giger.
