New screenshots released for Devil May Cry HD Collection

Capcom has released a new set of screenshots for Devil May Cry HD Collection. Devil May Cry HD Collection will feature remastered versions of the first three Devil May Cry games, and the following screenshots will give you an idea of what you can expect from them (visual wise. Hint: don’t expect mind-blowing improvements).

The PC version of Devil May Cry HD Collection will support resolutions up to 4K and beyond. Moreover, we expect all games to run at 60fps (though don’t expect support for higher framerates as the game code/logic will most likely be tied to the video refresh cycle).

This collection will be priced at $29.99 and will release on March 13th.

Enjoy!

    1. Dude, I have a Logitech G402 Gaming mouse and it have 8 button but that doesn’t matter. I have 2 gamepad too one is wireless and one is Wired but I am comfortable whit mice and keyboard and DMC 2013 was great with KB+M. I prefer KB+M.
and yes I play with game pad but only when I have to or when I play games like side stroller or retro games

  1. Finally! I’ve played Devil May Cry 3 so many times, yet I still can’t get sick of it. Welp, guess I’ll have to complete the game again for the nth time just to get those Steam achievements. :))

    1. Thankfully, no one is expecting you to. These are strictly aimed the fans and those who wanted to play them originally but never did.

    1. You mean that DmC reboot. I hope not, I wish it would stay dead… Seriously, it was such a downgrade compared to DMC3 and 4 that only appeals to… and I use this word begrudgingly… “casuals”.

Either way, NinjaTheory has branched out to other games like Hellblade. That game is good for what it wants to be. Also, please don’t touch another DMC game ever again NinjaTheory, thank you. :3

      1. I think it was a good modern day reboot and a great PC port…i hated every bit of it never the less because DMC didn’t need a reboot…

      2. Go back to playing DMC3 and 4. They didn’t age well. The combat is pathetically slow and clunky compared to DmC.

        1. Yeah man… That’s why there are combo videos for those games even uploaded to this day… Because you know… players like donguri990 or sakaki1224 don’t exist to prove your comment wrong or anything.

I’m not saying DmC is bad… just way too streamlined for my personal taste. The enemies and especially bosses are a major letdown compared to DMC3 and 4…

Dude, I’ve played DMC3 and 4 way too many times already and I even play them today… on Dante Must Die… I think I have pretty good understanding of those games.

Anyway, you won’t be getting a sequel for DmC… so if this makes you salty… sucks to be you I suppose.

  2. “HD” collection, that has only support for higher resolution.
Gonna stay on PCSX2 those games looks way better in native render res +1080p and 60fps + with AF16 and SMAA.
For more ambitious you can even add reshade for better colors, dof, blur etc
    looks amazing 😉

  3. I was hoping they would port the first 3 games to the DMC4 engine and call it remake instead of this rehash…oh well…a wish now postponed to the next console era.

    1. I’ve done it a long time ago and from what I remember it was good but it was a long time ago so I don’t remember it perfectly

  4. Are we just going to ignore the combat system in DMC4 and how much depth it has compared to pretty much any other action game, despite the the obvious padding? Yes?!? Okay…

I can find a number of flaws in DmC DMC, shallower combat, lame bosses, color coded enemies, too vibrant colors, brain dead enemies (except of the Dreamrunner)… did I also mention lame bosses? That’s a cardinal sin for a DMC game IMO….

With the exception of Vergil at the end of DmC… all the other bosses operate like Zelda boss fights… Like, really? And that Vergil boss fight doesn’t hold a candle to the ones in DMC3, both mechanically and thematically.

Have you even played other action games before, let alone master them? Because I did. I have a Youtube channel dedicated for that…
