Far Cry 5 feature 2

Ubisoft details Far Cry 5’s online co-op mode

Ubisoft detailed today Far Cry 5’s online co-op mode. Far Cry 5 will be playable via online co-op right after the first in-game tutorial. All earned experience and inventory items, excluding quest-based items, will carry over following each co-op session.

While exploring Montana, each player will see and collect their own loot. However, the host player is the only player who will keep their story progress.

To help players in their mission to take down the cult, the host player will still be able to recruit “Guns For Hire” or “Fangs for Hire” keeping in mind that you can have up to two buddies, with one being another player, join you in your squad.

Far Cry 5 “Friends For Hire” two-player co-op will allow players to explore Hope County and take down the Project at Eden’s Gate in a surprising and chaotic new fashion expanding the possibility of the game’s open world.

Far Cry 5 will be available February 27th.

Enjoy!

  1. Yup, that’s definitely how it goes down in co-op.

Yes sir, exactly the way shown in this trailer. Always smooth and organized.

      1. Not even surprised. Ubisoft is a steaming pile of hippo sh*t, and they deserve way more hate than they get. Scumbags.

    1. its shorter than the last game, lilke by alot, most of the game is cutscenes, cringe cutscens. the level design is horrible. If the last game had level design similar to say half life 2, this game has level design similar to fear, aka generic corridors and you dont really fight alot of new enemies. Feels more like a dlc than a sequel, but its on a new engine and runs like trash.

      1. ?aybe that why at least on consoles have sold 50% less than wolfestein new order the first week according to weekly retail charts. But we will see on friday how much it has sold on pc on steam spy.

        1. last time i checked evil within 2 was beating it in sales, now thats sad, a horror game and evil within 2 no less beating wolfenstein.

  2. I didnt know that ghost recon wildlands had a fps mode.

Also those enviroments are so much better than anything in wolfenstein. Hmm, thats a nice setting for wolfenstein, deep in the forests, recruiting survivalists for the resistane. Instead of the joke of a game we got.

  3. Just imagine how much better wolfenstein could be if they focused on making a good game instead of political propaganda. Showing the statue of liberty with swastikas, climbing the damn thing and looking at new york underneath you. Grand canyon with nazis, kinda like that level in duke nukem 3d. Going deep in the woods to recruit all american patriots, survivalists, for the resistance. Infiltrating a hidden military base in Alaska, fighting nazis underwater in a underwater base.

I could make a better wolfenstein game than the trash we got.

  4. Not sure how I feel about Ubisoft games with the performance mess that AC Origins is suffering from. Definitely not a game to pre order.
