Chewbacca Spotted in Star Wars Battlefront 2 Trailer

EA has just released a new video onto their official Twitter page showcasing Chewbacca and a bunch of amazing environments for their upcoming release next month.

Below you can find the video that focusses on what Chewbacca is going to be able to do throughout the game. Equipped with unique abilities such as a shock grenade and a charge slam I can see players quite enjoying their experience as Chewbacca, especially if he is balanced in comparison to the other generals (Darth Vader etc).

Star Wars Battlefront 2 launches on PC on November 17th!

  1. I’m guessing that the hope for a strong story-centric single-player RPG set in the SW universe is pretty much squashed. Just more of this absolutely mindless pew-pew drivel multiplayer stuff just packed with gambling mini-games.

I don’t like to be cynical but it seems like this is the direction the industry is heading. I’m looking forward to Wolfenstein The New Colossus and Ruiner, at least.

    1. If it has Star Wars in the name then it will sell well. I’m still waiting on a Star Wars game that is at least equal to KOTOR from 14 years ago and I doubt I will ever see it in my lifetime.

  2. That multiplayer is garbage. Sincerely, i feel bad for true SW fans. It’s sad that it is such a beautiful and smooth game that won’t be enjoyed.

      1. Cause the first one was fun! Played over 30hours of the beta only, had a blast. Played 1hour of BF2. meh.

        But my taste i guess.

  3. know what guys? i bet Obi-wan/Ben Kenobi isn’t in this game
why? because he’s a white male, handsome and features blonde hair
they actually included Finn (which isn’t even a Jedi) and Phasma (which didn’t do anything in the movie) most of the chars are from the new crappy movies

and there are a lot of clone wars characters missing, some of them major:
Anakin, Obi wan, general grievous, count dooku, and of course Mace Windu

but this is probably due to greed or laziness so they just add them later as DLC cause EA…
