Slightly Mad Studios’ Ian Bell has revealed that their new sim racing game, Project CARS 2, will not be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Now this is a pleasant surprise for a triple-A game as most of them are using it.
As Ian Bell told SpotTheOzzie in a really lengthy interview:
“We don’t have Denuvo. We looked at it back in February and we decided that it was too restrictive and would annoy our users, so we dropped it.”
That’s the spirit Slightly Mad Studios. Also kudos to our reader ‘Ritsuka66’ for informing us.
Bandai Namco has already sent us a review code for Project CARS 2 and although its embargo has been lifted, we’ll delay our PC Performance Analysis in order to test the game with its promised Day-1 patch.

This is huge. Dev’s recognizing from the get-go why Denuvo is bad is the death nell of Denuvo. This is far better than leaving Denuvo in initially and removing it later.

This demo is available on both – PC and Xbox. For now I must play this on PC because I must wait a few weeks for my Xbox X (November 7).

I honestly don’t think so for the simple reason that HVD’s alts were absurdly obvious and I highly doubt he would be capable of creating this different persona.
Not my business what you spend your money on but if you’re running an old GPU in your PC then maybe look at spending some of that money set aside for the Xbox X on a GPU upgrade and you might enjoy a better PC gaming experience. Just a thought.
Maybe… but I think that Xbox is better for me. Its fast enough and support HDR in more games (on PC support of HDR is rare). And of course it is a Red Dead Redemption which will be available only on consoles.

get gtx 1080 ti or gtx 1080. also get a 1440p or 4k monitir if you havent already. my gtx 970 on my 24” 1440p 60 hz ips monitor dellp2416d that costs 300 euros has better graphics than xbox x. and 970 is a 2014 card(released november 2014).

true 4k with ps1 graphics maybe, But not with pc ultra settings graphics. my 970 on 1440p monitor on max settings in each game has better graphics than what xbox x will have on 4k tv.

Game pefromance for TODAY is really bad, GTX 1070 50-63fps in 1080p.
Slightly Mad Studios PROMISED that a single GTX 1080Ti will handle 4K60fps, and also GTX1080 but with lower quality settings.
PC Games quality are going down on face…
and console is even bad at 900p at 30fps or 25 cinematographics experience at least i can play at 1080p and 60fps
