Absolver has just been released on the PC and Sloclap has already issued its first patch. According to the release notes, this patch improves overall stability and fixes a save data corruption issue that has been reported by its community.
Furthermore, this patch fixes a crash related to combo edition, some engine crashes that could produce corrupted save data, and a crash issue on dialog.
This patch will be auto-downloaded from Steam, and you can read its complete changelog below.

You’d think they would have added it right before release
Save data corruption sound bad, glad they’re fixing it. Just in case it’s not completely resolved, I’ll backup my saves. For anyone interested, local savedata (in GoG version) is stored in:
C:Users[YourUsername]AppDataLocalAbsolver
Didn’t run into any crashes though, but I know some reviewers did.
Yeah man, those were the days. And in DOS, the saves on the same folder of the game? 😛
There’s a tool that makes things more manageable, it’s called GameSave Manager, and it’s free. Handy to make backups of local save files. Some games are not supported, though they release frequent updates to the database (Absolver is not supported at the moment).

if it took them just a day to release the patch why couldnt they just delay the release of the game for 1 day?
its like they had this one waiting, ready to drop, for some sort of good publicity
