XCOM 2 Has Been Delayed, Now Scheduled For A February 2016 Release

2K and Firaxis Games announced today that XCOM 2 has been delayed to February 2016. XCOM 2 is a PC exclusive game that was initially planned for a November 2015 release. As Firaxis stated, it needs a little more time to polish the game, therefore its release date has been now set to February 5th, 2016.

As Firaxis claimed:

“We want to give you an update on the release date for XCOM 2. We’ve set a high bar for the sequel and the entire team has been working hard to make sure we deliver a great follow-up to Enemy Unknown. We just need a little more time to make it the best possible game.”

    1. Either way that’s very common to happen with any programmers project. Almost always there are bugs to be fixed, especially with very big projects.

  1. Actually makes me feel relieved. I start my last semester this Fall, and all these long a*s games coming out November would have been teasing me.
