This HD Fan Remake of Mortal Kombat has been in development for a couple of years. And while there is no ETA as of yet, the team behind it is still working on it. Below you can find some animated gifs for Goro and Sonya, as well as two stages and a test video (obviously still in early stage as it lacks various frames). For a fan recreation, this Mortal Kombat HD game looks phenomenal. It’s just sad that this game may not ever see the light of day!

There was another MK reamake that got canceled by NRS. The only way this will be released is if he sells it to Warner Bros after the completes it. Also HD? Who the plays on HD monitor in 2015?! Why he dosent make it a FULL HD& ultra HD?
yes right! HD is too old for now. It waste of time to make HD remake for PC in 2015 when no one plays on HD monitor anymore. Full HD is the lowest resolution pc monitors have but also the most popular one. Then we have 2560×1440 and 3820×2160. Anyway a more imporant issue is what wil happen with WB
1080 is still the most popular res. Deal with it not everyone has super expensive rigs to handle that sh*t at reasonable fps

I play in 1366×768 mostly, and it’s not all retro stuff, believe it or not.
you must have a very old pc to play at such resolution now. The cheapest(21,5)” 1080 p monitor costs only 140 euros. It is not so hard to upgrade.
