Activision showcased the PC version of Destiny 2 in 4K at this year’s E3 event. And while the PC version was running with 60fps, we did not know the GPU that was powering it, as well as the graphics settings that were used. Until now.
Digital Foundry has confirmed that the PC version of Destiny 2 was running in 4K on Max settings and with 60fps on a single NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080Ti.
What’s also important here is that the framerate never dropped below 60fps during all the demanding scenarios that were featured in the game’s E3 2017 build.
As such, we are pretty sure that Destiny 2 will be well optimized on the PC.
Destiny 2 is coming to the PC on October 24th and will support 4K resolutions (3820×2160), uncapped framerates, mouse and keyboard with custom key mapping, text chat, adjustable Field of View, detailed PC settings screen and 21:9 monitors!

I am happy to see Destiny 2 coming to pc for those who liked the first one. I hoped they learned from the boringness that the late game was.
Destiny have most expensive and forced DLC than any other game I bought.
2014 fall – Destiny for 60 usd (player level and weapon limit to 20)
2015 winter – 2 expansion for 20 usd each (player and weapon level limit going up)
2015 fall – big expansion for 60 usd (player and weapon level limit going up)
2016… another expensive DLC (player and weapon level limit going up)
2017 – Destiny 2 – BIG RESET players loose levels and weapons.
So it’s > 220USD/€ Game? Ooo Wait…. 😉
I think the final 2 expansions were $40 instead of $60 if you bought them alone, but that still adds up to $180, or 3 full priced games.
Wait…aren’t you the guy that gets paid in Xbox Live Gold and free windows store games and DLCs by MShaft? What are you whining about all of a sudden? O_o
Isn’t Destiny a PlayStation “sponsored” title, though? ;D
Yes. I wrote yesterday about -50% sale of Forza Horizon 3 in Windows Store. This game is good and cheap at this price. Gold for 14 days cost less than 3 usd so for 33 usd (30+3) you can buy Forza Horizon 3 on PC
Wait. It’s a new low.
Did they actually announce “TEXT CHAT” i mean even EA didn’t go this low.
Another “new low” will be Microsoft’s impending Xbone X running this game at a laughable 30fps as Digital Foundry is fully expecting to be the case.
Check the Need for Speed series. No text chat.
LOL! Oh wait Didn’t they have it last NFS ?
Of course the game ran well on a 1080 Ti. What about lower end machines that the majority of us are using?
You can’t do basic arithmetic? Look at the relative performance of other GPUs compared to the 1080Ti and you’ll know the performance.
1080p/60fps.
No.
i believe i was right..i said in a nother i said it was a 1080 ti.some one said it was a labtop..lmao.i said 80% of pc gamers WONT be playing it in 4k/60fps.
