  1. Maybe in next console generation, Nintendo might consider remake of Zelda Ocarina of time and majora mask in unreal Engine with modern graphics, improved gameplay, voice acting just like BOTW also Large Dungeon just like twilight princess and big hyrule field and termina etc.

    1. That sounds great and it’s doable, the only problem being, Nintendo doesn’t remaster sht, unfortunately. Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t remember one remastered title.

          1. Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition is great example of good remaster. Even have content they cutted out in the original release.

Metroid Prime Remastered is another one.

And tLoZ Link’s Awakening have a very nice looking remake but too many dips in framerate.

            The 3 are for Switch.

          2. yeah i forgot the links awakening, the other two i don’t play, so it didnt catch my attention.

  2. This site doesn’t understand that just adding detail and polygons doesn’t always make something better looking.

Simple direct lighting often looks better than complex lighting or raytracing. There is a reason Rembrandt lighting that shows off the form with a single direct 3/4 light is so pleasing.

A detailed environment is often distracting. There is a reason bokeh with a faded environment is so pleasing.

The impression of grass often looks better than adding millions of polygons of distracting grass sprites. There is a reason impressionism and pointillism survived the era of detailed photography.

    1. I think you’re going too hard at it. The simple answer here is, details nowadays are added to hide the flaws.

Simple folk get distracted and consider it’s money’s worth.
