2K Games has released the E3 2015 gameplay trailer for XCOM 2, in which XCOM soldiers strike back against the alien occupation by sabotaging an ADVENT landmark. XCOM 2 will feature more soldier customisation, updated classes, as well as procedurally-generated levels (the game’s state of the world affects each combat mission’s environment). The game is coming exclusively to the PC this November. Enjoy!

and I say again: that’s no real gameplay. you will see.
I don’t see how it’s not real gameplay. That’s how Xcom 1 plays 0_0?
It aint going to mobile thus those great graphics!
Why? sure the events in the trailer are scripted to show specific scenarios in the game, but the rest will be pretty accurate to the final build.
The game looks just like XCOM: EU and EW did, i don’t really understand what you are talking about when you say it isn’t real.
That’s real gameplay, they only made it more cinematic to make it more appealing at E3. There will be story based missions that will have this level of presentation but most of the missions will not have small scripted events like the ones shown in this demo but the gameplay itself is going to be exactly the same.
I playing the first one.Is just amazing.
Guess it is heading to consoles too…later tough.
STEAM dayONE FTW!
That was awesome, I cannot wait.
I like the new abilities like hacking turrets and the fact that you can (like in the original) carry injured soldiers off of the field.
Looks great, can’t wait to see more!
That seemed waaaay too cinematic and staged to be actual gameplay.
I love the art style, and the audio is amazing, assuming it wasn’t made just for the trailer. I highly doubt the game’s pacing will be like this, though.
The dev’s have said not all the in-game cinematic stuff shown will be in the final game and some of them were purely for the E3 demo, but all the top down view stuff was real gameplay.
I can understand that, but it seems like more dishonest marketing to show in-game cinematics that won’t be in the game.
Like, I can understand the large monster hitting that girl and knocking her out, but she hit the side of that van in a very particular way that was not rag-doll.
It seems like they’re really going out of their way to stretch the meaning of the word “gameplay”
This is a good point….
“Wait. You start with projectile weapons. 25 years later and no plasma weapons. What about all those Council Missions where you sent off 8 or whatever Plasma Rifles etc.. wtf happened to those!?”
