  1. Now this looks beautiful & interesting. Reminds me of Spore, where you evolve and survive while exploring. Wonder how they’ll implement engaging gameplay though. Will be looking forward to it.

  2. I hate ants. they are the destructive rats of any garden. only a sheltered, downtown Los Angeles developer (who never owned a garden or even met ants) would think that they are cute and worthy of a game.

    1. They’re not supposed to be cute, they’re supposed to be organized and warlike.
That’s the whole point of this game.

And I’d still rather ants and than cockroaches.

      1. I can assure you that the devs were like “OMG look they are like little soldiers so organized haha so cute” the whole time during development

    2. Ants play a crucial role on our planet. They are populous in number and essential for soil aeration, fertilization, and ecological balance. Ants are also a vital food source for other creatures. They also help control the population of more harmful insects . The extinction of ants would cause catastrophic damage to our ecosystem.

      1. Ants destroy orchards by filling the fresh leaves with aphids. they live a symbiotic life. aphids produce nectar in exchange for protection. therefore ants spread them everywhere they can. they ruin your lawn by creating hives, erode the soil with their enormous colonies, they break into your home and destroy your food, force you to spend a tonne on chemicals to get rid of them. they are not essential at all, only like 3 animals feed on them, and they all live in rainforests or in africa. the world would be a better place without ants.

        1. “they ruin your lawn”

          LOL

It’s technically THEIR lawn, since they were already there when you moved. And dude, you talk a lot of shït. Go get yourself educated.

  3. Microids is one of the few developers left that releases fully finished, bug-free games.

I never have issues with their games, not on PC, not on consoles.

Syberia 3 probably being the sole exception of a game that didn’t live up to my expectations.

Syberia 1 and 2 are excellent, the Agatha Christie series is excellent too.

Some of Microids’ games are for a younger audience, like the My Universe series, but I had way more fun with them than many games from “AAA” developers that are riddled with technical problems.

    1. Syberia 3 was a letdown for most gamers but Syberia 1 and 2 are must plays for anyone that likes point and click adventure games with really good stories. The games are around 20 years old but I still highly recommend them both.

btw for anyone interested they can be had for 75% off on GOG right now.

    1. It’s not meant to be accurate, it’s just a tech demo.
And don’t expect diversity hires to know how insects work.
