Tom Clancy’s The Division – Snowdrop Engine – GDC 2014 Trailer

As you’d expect, Ubisoft has released a GDC 2014 trailer for its mind-blowing engine that will be powering The Division, the Snowdrop Engine. As the French company claimed, Snowdrop supports ‘the philosophy of the studio to work better, not bigger, by giving content creators the freedom to experiment, prototype and truly unleash their creativity.’ Enjoy!

    1. Considering Crysis 3 wasn’t a so called next-gen game and wasn’t downgraded it will not be beaten for a while yet, even Crysis 1 had more realtime effects than a lot of games now.

  1. Why why whyyyyyy .? Why UBISOFT bought Massive Entertainment .? What a sad end to such a talented studio 🙁

  2. They’re so afraid now days that their alpha footage will look bad and it will hurt theoretical sales, so they put together videos like this that look perfect and are made for reviewers.

Wish people would stop reviewing anything other than finished code. Hexus showed bad texture quality in alpha shots of Titanfall, stupid thing to do, alphas shouldn’t be for the public.

  3. for me… its kinda meh. is like… hooooo looks all the “POWER” of the new console.
we are still getting very low res textures and jaggsss everywhere… i dont know… maybe im getting old.
but why should i buy a game so called next gen when i can mod my games like this:

yeah… the true hurt so bad…. we live in a world ruled by consoles.
