Tom Clancy’s The Division – E3 2014 Microsoft Stage Demo

Ubisoft has presented a new gameplay demo for The Division during Microsoft’s E3 2014 conference. Once again, we have to note that this is Ubisoft we are talking about. And we’re saying this because this new gameplay footage looks amazing. If Ubisoft manages to pull it off, The Division will be a glorious game. Enjoy!

  1. Dynamic shadows and lighting, particle effects, high resolution textures, realtime reflections, wind effects in objects and the cool gameplay dynamics…all of them and maybe some more stuff will be missed. 🙁

Also I couldn’t tell that this was heavily scripted and the guy holding the controller was just playing the mime for 5 minutes…at all. I bet this gameplay was played like 40 times until it looked cool enough for the E3.

    1. It was kind of an idealized gameplay scenario, and of gaming/ nerd fantasy in general, given Megan. Most of us gaming nerds will never play with a sexy-voiced Megan-type woman that takes games as seriously as we do.

But, you’re right – upon release they’ll strip this game down until it looks like Watch Dogs. Probably. Although, The Division doesn’t seem to have all the crowds of people and cars – that will cut down on CPU cycles. Plus, what enemy AI is there will probably run off of a cloud server, removing more CPU cycles (much like how Titanfall works, I suspect).

  2. looks exactly like the last year demo (gameplay wise) so go there, shoot them,go there, shoot them, hire some actors to do the voices etc… boring as hell, online only is one thing but a s**ty online only tilte is another

    1. Scenes are to complex.
Its Possible on my hardware to run this (as it looks) but that will need The Scene Like Optimisation.
Lets hope downgrade will be not to big
