Tom Clancy’s The Division – E3 2013 Versus E3 2014 Video Comparison

YouTube’s member ‘luckySkillFaker’ has shared a video that compares the E3 2013 and E3 2014 versions of Tom Clancy’s The Division. As we can clearly see, these builds look identical, so we can at least say that the game looks – for the time being – just as good as it did last year. Tom Clancy’s The Division is currently planned for a 2015 release on PC, Xbox One and PS4. Enjoy!

  1. Downgraded lighting already, looking like a Watch Dogs downgrade(but not as bad maybe) though you must learn that E3 videos are fake, we never get that quality. Perhaps that’s why I like Watch Dogs, I just didn’t expect the E3 visuals and as usual on the PC, modders made it better.

I don’t trust Ubisoft one bit until they can properly deliverer a finished game that looks like E3 footage, but hell will freeze over because E3 footage is fake.

    1. Downgrade lighting? are you serious? its not even the same environment to be comparing directly. I still see some form of radiosity or GI in there. I’m not denying that this my suffer downgrade down the line but to say that the second gameplay footage is downgrade is BS.

    2. The differences are so small they can be completely explained by different places and time of day. If they both even are running on good PC’s.

  2. Obvious lack of Anti-Aliasing and a lighting downgrade. At least PC users will be able to inject some better AA, but once more consoles are holding back the industry.

    1. Hell yeah thats what I told a retard in another thread, the consoles do hold back Pc gaming but some idiots are to stupid to get that!

  3. You do know this was likely run on a Xbox One Dev kit, which explains the complete lack of AA.
And comparing two different pieces of footage in different locations at different times? It’s silly to be honest.

  4. I prefer the more zoomed out camera in the 2013 footage, they probably pushed it in closer to reduce the FOV for consoles.

  5. After AC2 I stopped playing Ubisoft games. Their downgraded graphics [FC2/FC3] are bad but what gets me the most is their DRM. Stop forcing Uplay down our throats.
