IGN has shared a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming open-world action RPG, The Relic: The First Guardian. This short gameplay trailer gives us a glimpse at the game’s combat system. So, make sure to watch it if you are interested in it.
In this action RPG, players will embark on a heroic adventure to save the world in the dark as the last guardian. Players will start their journey as a guardian, gather pieces of great relic, and close the void.
As with all Souls-inspired games, the game will have stamina and dodge mechanics. You will also be able to block the enemy’s attacks. Plus, there will be a parry system. So, deflecting enemy attacks will allow you to unleash combos on your enemies.
The game will offer players to choose 5 different types of weapon options that form the basis of the action. Each weapon has its unique skills which can be changed according to your play style.
In The Relic: The First Guardian, characters do not have levels. Instead, they use runes, items, and crafting to power up. To make their characters the best, players will explore dungeons and defeat bosses, which helps them expand their world and reach their full potential.
There is currently no ETA for when the game will come out. Perp Games has stated that it plans to release it sometime in 2025.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

after a while all those souls games look the same, its hard to distinguish them and tell them apart…like tears in the rain.
I rather watch digital paint dry than play these types of games.
i can definitely see how the last boss would be "the camera and particle effects duo".
like the visual ambience but souls-like means….wait for sale(then never play)
market is oversaturated with souls like. Hopefully it slows down a little and give us a better version of Cyberpunk games. CyberPunk 2077 was decent but it could be improved upon vastly.
