Bethesda has released a new trailer for its upcoming horror survival game, The Evil Within. The Evil Within releases on October 14th, and comes with some really harsh PC requirements (at least according to Bethesda). The game is powered by id Tech 5 and will be interesting to see whether it will support SLI, and whether it will demand huge amounts of VRAM for textures that – at least from what we’ve seen thus far – do not even come close to those of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Enjoy!

i don’t like how the normal maps look in games that use id tech, i did not like it in doom 3, wolf, rage, any orc in shadow of mordor looks better, has a more natural skin surface and better clothes than any of the enemies in this trailer.
Time to finish Alien faster before pre-loading TEW
Has that begun for TEW?
I believe that I saw I pre-load writen since day 6 that is avaiable to pre-load or was it Alien…I use Linux as main OS so I have to boot …so only tomorrow! lmao!
Omg omg omg! so many awesome enemies OoO, i can’t wait!
Look at those 2008 fallout 3 graphics look at them…4gb and i7 please.
Just hope it’s NOT locked at 60fps and even worse 30fps!
If so I wont buy that crap!
lol you mean they need all that vram and i7 for 30 fps?
LOL, that would be something!
I seen some article from the N4g that they mentioned 30 fps, so lest just hope it wont be that way. If so it’s a F*CKN nightmare mate!
Core i7, 4gb VRAM. This game is truly a survival horror. Fight for your life!
fight the lag
Low FPS shall not pass!
Horror for your wallet if you can take those specs seriously.
And yet Alien Isolation makes a mockery of this game with half the specs.
