Terraria fans, get ready for a treat. Re-Logic has released a new teaser trailer for Terraria’s upcoming patch 1.3, showing off some of the new things that are coming in it. As Re-Logic has already stated, this may be the last update that Redigit – the game’s original author – works on personally. Redigit has begun preliminary work on a new game outside of the Terraria franchise, with additional long-term plans for a Terraria sequel. Still, Re-Logic may release some patches and hotfixes in the future. Enjoy!

I played this game for about 60 hours until it got incredibly tedious. What they need are portals you can lay down that will allow quick travel between your last location and your home base. The fun comes from exploring, not trekking a half hour to get back to someplace.
That’s a good idea. You can change your spawn point by making a tiny home and putting a bed in it, but that’s just awkward.
Between this and the upcoming Starbound update I don’t know why I even own a video card for AAA games.
And seriously, if you’re about to complain about Starbound just shut up now.
I doubt people stop compaining on Steam just because you said so. It’s been almost a year after all, and still no updates.
Chucklefish just grabbed all the money he could get from Terraria-hype-preorders and showed everyone the finger. People like him ruining the idea of Early Access, exploiting it for their own personal gain.
