Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005

Take a look at Need For Speed Most Wanted with RTX Remix Path Tracing

YouTube’s ‘Big Boy’ is currently working on an RTX Remix Mod for Need For Speed Most Wanted, aiming to add Path Tracing effects to it. And although there is no ETA on when it will come out, the modder shared a new WIP gameplay video.

In this video, Big Boy showcases the game’s new lighting system. The modder needs to fine-tune the colors but he claims that it’s close to final.

Now as you’ll see, the biggest issue right now is the low-quality textures. Need For Speed Most Wanted came out in 2005 and has really blurry textures (by today’s standards). So here is hoping that  Big Boy will use an AI tool in order to overhaul them. Furthermore, the modder plans to implement displacement maps (as the latest version of RTX Remix has added support for them).

For our NFS fans, there is also an RTX Remix Mod for Need For Speed: Underground 2 in development. Similar to this one, though, there is no ETA on when it will be released. From what we know, the RTX Remix for Underground 2 is in a more advanced stage than the one for Most Wanted.

It will be interesting to see whether these two mods will come out before or after the release of the RTX Remix Creator Tool. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Enjoy!

      1. That’s unsurprisingly callous — but surprisingly moral — coming from you. (I have to thank you; I assumed they were just Nazis, not jihadists.)

Anyway, for anyone wondering why Israel’s Muslim neighbors hate it so, the answer comes neither from Israeli self-defense nor American political machinations; it comes from Muhammad himself:

“Allah’s Apostle said, ‘The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say, “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him”‘” (Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 177).

        1. I don’t care about being moral on the internet. I’m a nice guy irl 🙂
Palestinian hatred for Israel doesn’t come from Islam necessarily, if anything, it’s been the most irrelevant factor in the last couple of decades.

      2. i dont live in israel, although its amazing how there is no anti white propaganda or lolicon on 4chan lately. Really makes yo uthink.

          1. yeah, hamas cant defeat the israeli military, would be easier if they didnt send 80 of their munititions to ukraine.

          2. You’re hallucinating again, Israel has done nothing for Ukraine other than humanitarian aid and accepting refugees.
If it were anything more than that, Iran would have 4 squadrons of S-35s and they’d be balls deep in Israel right now.
This is what happens when you read comments on fox news and think that 85 year old grandma sure knows what she’s talking about.

          3. I’m talking about the comment section, it’s full of people like you who fled their mental asylum.

  1. John, it’d be cool if you could implement a side forum we could talk about stuff, like the “Gaming Cafe” or something like that, so we don’t muddy up the articles here with off topic things.

Regarding NFS, …….Meh. I wish someone would remake BLUR. I like cars with guns lol.

      1. Discord isn’t really a good substitute for a forum. I mean, they had IRC back in the day when forums first became popular. Chat and forums sort of fill different niches.
