This is what appears to be in game footage for the previously (and currently) canned Star Wars: Assault. Now this looks like it was likely an internal beta to show off the game as a proof of concept. The video’s description however states that it ran over Xbox Live but could not spawn enemies or other players.
This video definitely intrigues because the user who uploaded it appears to also be the person who recorded as the YouTube channel name matches that of the player in game. The uploader has few other videos which are all Halo related.
With the new Star Wars: Battlefront release on the horizon I am yearning for a reboot of a classic Star Wars PC title: Star Wars Tie Fighter.

Yeah the New Battlefront is kind of insulting to the Battlefront franchise. Don’t get me wrong a Star Wars themed Battlefield does make for a cool game, but it doesn’t make for a good battlefront game and that is where I have issue.

It’s not even a Battlefield Game, which is the most ridiculous part. 40 Players? AT-AT’s on Wheels? What happened to all the “Battlefield 4 – greatest Vehicle Warfare of all time!” yada yada yada bullsh*t? It’s like the Developers took Stupid Pills in order to forget they’re the same people (supposedly) behind Battlefield 4.
Its not a Battlefield game. Battlefield has a ton more machines to drive, a ton more freedom, way better and open maps and on top of that..you can be more than 1 in a machine. BF4 is much deeper than Battlefront
To be fair though, they WERE calling it Star Wars: First Assault, rather than Star Wars: Battlefront.
In that regard, I’d take it as a brand-new IP, even if it was just a full-sized version of Star Wars: Galactic Warfare, over the apefest that is Star Wars: Battlefront 3.

If you haven’t played the old Tribes games they are a far cry from today’s typical fps. There is also the original Crysis, its graphics still hold up today and it is has a really awesome open world.
yea i played tribes back in the day.but thi looks like cod/star wars.if this is it will dominate cod and destiny.
This game is like CoD while Battlefront is like Battlefield.

cod clone starwars game is insulting when new republic commando game remains missing.
This is pretty much CoD with the skin of Star wars.. not bad, but it has to be a lot more in order for me to buy it. This is okay as far as the idea goes, but if they ever hope to sell it.. it needs to be MUCH better.
Thats why i dont bother with CoD, even with the latest ones.
