Cloud Imperium has released two new videos, showcasing the upcoming procedurally generated planet system for Star Citizen. Star Citizen keeps getting better and better. The game’s final release is anticipated to occur at the end of 2016, although nothing is set on stone as of yet. Enjoy!
Thomas is a close friend to John ‘john2’ and John ‘WhatGoesAroundComesAround’. Thomas, John and John basically came with the idea of DSOGaming. Thomas has been helping John with News articles these past years, and prefers to stay in the background than the foreground.
It does look great.
This game needs DX12, it shouldn’t be a problem since SC’s production takes so long.
Is there even a final version yet?
ETA 2016.
Yep so enough time to implement DX12 :).
If its any consolation they’re taking a long while because they are implementing it at the lowest level possible instead of some kinda duct taped patch. Crytek doesn’t officially support DX12 in their engine (cryengine) however it is possible to make it work based on another title or two that uses cryengine that has dx12.
It’s Will Smith
Wow.
I’m loving this game so far; just played a couple of hours of Alpha 2.0 and it really does look gorgeous (GTX 970). If you do sign up, use referral code STAR-VK4V-QSYM to get $5 free credit (UEC 5,000) for the in-game store 🙂
