Sniper Elite 4 gets first official gameplay trailer

Rebellion has released the first official gameplay trailer for Sniper Elite 4, featuring new kill cams, new takedowns, new stealth abilities and – as the team noted – the most satisfying sniping in the series to date. Sniper Elite 4 is currently planned for a February 14th release. Enjoy!

  1. Games like this really depend on the level design, from the trailer it looks like they’re making it pretty open-ended, which could be a good thing. The thing that’s not giving me good vibes is all this focus on spectacle and takedowns, smells like cookie cutter dumbed down gameplay.

    1. When i saw the e3 gameplay they open the map and said “so we are here and the objective is over there and those are optional objectives, the demo starts here but the mission starts all the way back there”

Finally a open ended sniper game OH WAIT we getting two of those.

        1. Really depends on your definition of small, for example far cry 3-4 and mgs v dont have small maps, they are open world but all the missions take place in tiny camps. I want something more open than the very limited camps that console games offered. Anyone remember project igi or far cry? Those were bases worth infiltrating. By comparison the camps in far cry 3-4 are tiny, so it is not so much about open world but the lack of exploration and believability. What is the point infiltrating if you got 3 buildings and 5 enemies to work with?

        2. Yeah I was going kind of off topic. I was actually thinking to myself about how everything is going the open world route due to gamers’ demands of every game having to be 100+ hours then I saw your comment of bigger maps and felt the need to respond to that. Honestly to me I don’t mind a linear game that much granted it’s at least maybe 15-20 hours. See the thing is, yes we spend dozens and even hundreds of hours in open world games but the reality is we spent so much time within the same maps whereas with a linear game , assuming there’s no backtracking, we are consistently moving forward through the game world and the truth is and while most dislike this, a linear game DOES benefit the narrative. I do however like games with larger than normal maps but it just doesn’t have to be MASSIVE you know what I mean. Like for example, Doom’s maps aren’t massive but it’s quite fine. The thing with linear games, while being shorter, can offer replay value if the campaign is lots of fun. I’ve finished Doom but I definitely played a few playthroughs. Why? Because it’s simply fun. I honestly just dislike the current trend of every game needs to be open world with 100+ hours. It’s honestly flawed.

  2. “no Denuvo”

haahhahahaha good one even by butt is protected by denuvo at this point, last night i saw a cockroach i sprayed it and it did nothing, even cockroaches use denuvo now.

  3. Trailer looks very nice but honestly too much Mortal Kombat here 😛 For me this game will be not only Sniper game now like a Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. This two sniper game will be not only sniper game style. Both of this game will be release on start 2017 so it will be great time for me.
