Shinobi Remake Gets Official Gameplay Trailer

SEGA has released the first official gameplay trailer for the Shinobi Remake, which will be called Shinobi: Art of Vengeance. Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is a 2D action platformer with hand-drawn graphics, and it will come out on August 29th.

In this game, you will play as the legendary Shinobi Joe Musashi, master of the ninja arts. After finding your village burned to the ground and your clan turned into stone, you must set off on a quest for vengeance, ready to face an unparalleled evil and avenge your clan.

Players will wield their vast ninja arsenal including the great Katana Oborozuki, Kunai, Ninjutsu arts, and Ninpo to vanquish their foes. Players will unleash limitless combos with unique combat moves, acquire Amulets for enhanced abilities, and discover Ningi tools to overcome obstacles and uncover new paths.

The game promises to have a dozen unique and visually striking stages. Players will find military bases and a scorching desert, full of challenging platforming puzzles, and hidden secrets.

  1. The same team who did SOR 4?
    That was a great game, but I already didn't like the new graphic style.
    It feels so… 2020s.
    And it seems to be the same with this new Shinobi…
    I think the old Shinobi 3 had better artistic direction.
    Why do they always use such dull washed out colors in modern games?
    Shinobi 3 showed us some beautiful dark and cloudy environments, without using washed out colors. I think that modern artists don't study color harmony anymore.
