RoboCop: Rogue City gets an official story trailer

NACON has released the official story trailer for Teyon’s upcoming RoboCop game, RoboCop: Rogue City. According to the publisher, the game will have an intriguing new plot incorporating plenty of references to delight die-hard fans.

In RoboCop: Rogue City, you’ll become the iconic hero who is part man, part machine, all cop. As such, players will attempt to bring justice to the dangerous, crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit.

RoboCop: Rogue City promises to also feature iconic locations from the first movie. For instance, you’ll be visiting the Police Station. Nacon and Teyon also claim that players will be able to solve cases (by not showing their enemies).

As RoboCop, players will conduct the investigation to uncover the secrets behind the murky “Afterlife” project: you will have to rely on your trusty Auto 9, your special skills, your cyborg strength and your detective skills to restore order, and protect the citizens of Old Detroit.

Earlier this month, NACON released a PC demo for RoboCop: Rogue City that had major shader compilation stutters. Thankfully, the developers have addressed them so we can expect the final game to run smoothly.

Nacon will release this new RoboCop game on November 2nd.

Enjoy!

  1. I’m actually excited for this game, even if all you do is walk slow shooting punks, something about the blood splatter and shot feedback feels very satisfying, and they nail the Robocop feel.

      1. If the demo is indicative of the beginning of the game (and at this point, it very likely will be), it takes a bit over 7 minutes to get to the shooting. It can also be as little as 2 minutes if you skip the cutscenes.

  2. Looks good tbf, I was worried that the lack of Robo’s pace would stall things but the turmoil in Murphy’s mind makes for a better storyline than Robocop 3…

  3. I really liked the demo, and have faith in the devs (based on their track) record that this will be a faithful, and fun action game!
Only concern is the performance, hope they fix that…

    1. Did you have issues running it? What are your specs? It ran just fine for me while streaming it too on a 6600xt/5700x

  4. I tried the demo and was impressed. The graphics are rough, looks like the game is running on a tight budget but the investigations, the gameplay, RoboCop’s voice, the side missions not being a 1to1 open-world garbage side-missions, and everything else about it was cool
