Grinding Gear Games has shared another short but sweet gameplay trailer for its upcoming hack n slash action RPG, Path of Exile 2. This trailer showcases some truly next-gen graphics, at least compared to Blizzard’s latest game, Diablo 4.
The funny thing here is that Diablo 4 already looks great. However, and from what we’ve seen so far, Path of Exile 2 will be on a whole new level. Path of Exile 2 seems to have better physics-based scripted events, as well as higher-quality textures. It looks absolutely gorgeous, so make sure to watch the video.
Path of Exile 2 will feature a massively improved engine for graphics & physics. Furthermore, the game will have 19 new ascendancy classes. These characters are a new set of Exiles who fall into the same class archetypes as those in the original game.
Grinding Gear Games will reveal more about Path of Exile 2 on July 28th at ExileCon.

That’s odd, I was thinking how it still looked worse than both Diablo 4 and Resurrected when watching that. Not really seeing the “Next Gen” part of that video.

to me it certainly doesnt. not to mention its an expansion of an existing game and D4 just released too so if you think theyre similar looking then its fine

PoE2 is an “expansion” of PoE, meaning is the same engine, and same game installation, so the improvement should not be in a way that old players with old computers are forced to abandon the game.
Is it true poe1 is a grind fest pay-2-win microtrasaction hell hole? It looked nice and this one looks even better.
poe1 is grindy beyond belief. and by the time your build starts to function they nerf everything and force you to make a new build every 3 months

After playing Diablo 4 for 2 weeks i’m more interested in POE2 now than ever before… lol
D4 just doesnt have content to keep you interested after 1-2 weeks.
It has even less content than Last Epoch which is in early access.
And aside from mommy Lilith i dont remember any bosses from the main D4 story.
