Official gameplay overview trailer showcases Greedfall’s RPG features

Focus Home Interactive has released a brand new gameplay trailer for Greedfall, showcasing its RPG features. In this new Gameplay Overview trailer, Spiders and Focus Home Interactive give you a tour of the numerous features that mark GreedFall as a core RPG with player choice at its heart.

As the press release reads, creating your character and picking your starting skills, attributes, and talents is just the beginning when it comes to carving your own path on Teer Fradee, whether you choose to specialize or be a jack-of-all-trades. In addition, the deep crafting system allows you to customize equipment, tailoring their look and stats to suit your playstyle.

When resorting to combat, you can approach it in your own way. You can subdue foes with heavy weapons, use your rapier to parry and riposte with flair, or control the battlefield using traps and magic. The optional tactical pause menu allows you to choose your next moves strategically. Your party members will follow you into battle, but keep in mind that they are people with their own hopes, goals and motives. Say or do the wrong thing and their loyalty to you could waver, or even turn entirely.

Your decisions will shape the future of the new world and the old, and so GreedFall provides you with the freedom to make them. Don the armor of an enemy faction to pose as one of their own or use your diplomatic talents to influence the powerful elite; these are just some of the opportunities you’ll be given in GreedFall.

GreedFall releases September 10th.

Enjoy!

  1. spiders at this point is a veteran at making mediocre and bad rpgs which makes me wonder why they even bother.

  2. Wow looks pretty good. Much more RPG that anything Bethesda (and lately Bioware) shat out. With interesting combat to boot.

  3. ah, they just HAD to put a gey scene in the trailer, they just had to. geys are good for business apparently when it comes to media.

    1. Was gonna say EXACTLY that!
If you look at any movie or tv show, almost always will have homosexuality in it! Now, games are pretty much getting there.

This is how they make it a “norm”…its a political game!

        1. It’s out of proportion to reality as well. Estimates from polls are that the gay population here in the USA is between 3% and 4% although a lot of people believe that the percentage is much higher and that’s probably due to media misrepresentation of reality.

        2. I personal don’t care about gay in or out of games. But why can’t black be part of a fantasy setting? Are you one of those racist piece of sh*t who think black people don’t belong in white people made game!? Set in a fictional world!??

      1. Evil is no longer conducting itself from the shadows, it is out in the open for everyone to see.

  4. soooo have you guys played kingdomds of amalaur, that game was packed with stuff and had alot of customization and hack and slash combat.

    1. boring singleplayer mmo wannabe game. if would have been great if there were some quality of life/immersion content.

    1. Cause qu33rs exist, do you like it or not, so it’s quite normal to put then in arts that depicts real life!
