Square Enix has released the official story trailer for OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0. The publisher has also announced that a demo is available on PS5 and PS4. At the time of writing, the demo is not available on PC. So, I don’t know if it is exclusive to Sony’s consoles.
OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0 will be a prequel to OCTOPATH TRAVELER. As such, players will embark on a brand new adventure of their own creation in this stunning HD-2D RPG.
The game will have two brand-new features for the series. The first one is the character creation system. For the first time ever, you will get to become the hero. The second is the town-building mechanics. Players will rebuild their hometown to their vision and invite their allies and those they meet on their travels to move in.
The Break and Boost system will also return. Players will enjoy thrilling and strategic command-based battles using an 8-character party. They will form their very own party from over 30 different travellers.
Square Enix will release OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0 on December 4th. For those wondering, yes. The game will use the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. You can also find its official PC requirements here.
