Saber Interactive has released a new gameplay trailer for World War Z, the upcoming four-player co-op multiplayer game inspired by Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster action film. This newest look at one of gaming’s most anticipated third-person shooters breaks down the game’s main classes, each bringing a unique playstyle and balance of firepower and abilities to the carnage.
According to the press release, each of World War Z’s six playable classes comes loaded with several unique perks, but here’s a taste of what’s in store for the undead hordes when you play:
Gunslinger – For those who skip the questions and shoot first, the Gunslinger is loaded with an arsenal of weapon damage and ammo-boosting perks to mow down the dead.
Hellraiser – Enough explosives can solve any problem! Hellraisers come armed with C4 and other tools for effective crowd control.
Slasher – For warriors with a sense of elegance, the best way to kill is with your trusty blade. Slashers have perks that increase melee damage and effectiveness while their armed tasers deliver electrifying results.
Medic – Sometimes the best way to fight the undead is keeping your teammates from becoming one of them. Armed with a Stim Pistol, Medics can heal fellow survivors from a distance and help keep the chaos under control.
Fixer – When versatility in any situation is the highest priority, the Fixer is there for you, starting out with an explosive ammo case and several teammate ammo-restoring perks.
Exterminator – Fire is the answer! Armed with Molotov cocktails and increased fire damage, the Exterminator just wants to watch the undead burn.
World War Z takes players on a zombie-packed journey of unique survivor stories all around the world, including New York, Moscow, Jerusalem and more. Powered by Saber’s dynamic Swarm Engine, the game unleashes hundreds of fast-moving, bloodthirsty zombies at a time on players for a heart-pounding action experience. Work together with your teammates, using deadly weapons, explosives, turrets, traps and barricades to dismember and demolish the undead menace, then level up and customize your heroes to survive even more difficult challenges.
Enjoy!

Damn that looks insane! Going to have to get this for sure. That new Walking Dead(OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead) game was a bust but this on the other hand looks really good. Please be good, that horde tech is pretty epic. Looks like the best L4D type game we are going to get since Valve lost their marble bag and I can’ think of any others?
Found this “then level up and customize your heroes to survive even more difficult challenges” so maybe their is loot + gear!?
this game is about killing zombie hordes and they’re showing you how it plays, what do you mean please be good? they’re showing you what type of game it is and how it plays.
are you one of those kids with down syndrome that can’t judge a game by it’s countless gameplay trailers on the internet?
You can not fully judge a game without having trying it !!!
if the gameplay is shet then there’s nothing else to judge, i don’t give a shet about story, exploration or other things that autists are into these days. also gameplay looks fun but it would get boring after an hour or so.
also if you’re implying that you can’t judge a gameplay by a gameplay trailer then that means you have low iq.
As always, what you say makes no sense. Good continuity…
I hope you get a new Troll T-Shirt for Christmas.
There could be many issues with any game that you can not tell from a YouTube video. “please be good” equates to a game that has potential but your are not sure of the important factors that you can only tell from playing it. Here are only some issues that could be a problem in this game that you can not tell from a video:
– There could be only one map/lack of content and the rest are forced paid DLC’s
– The movement could be slow and sluggish, input lag
– The shooting mechanics might not feel right have issues
– Bad loading times and streaming tech
– It could have no or a bad progression systems
– Loot system could be bad or unbalanced
– The Zombie horde could be unbalanced too many or unfair
– Lack of mob variety and attacks
– There could be a timer and it could be unbalanced or annoying
– Gameplay loop could be boring have issues
– The classes could be unbalanced or not fun
– There could be micro transactions that unbalance the game
– Could be online only
– Jumping and traversing could be sluggish and ruin the game
– If online only there could be rubber banding and other network issues
– MP could have network issues and bad NET code
– FOV could be bad and there could be no FOV slider
– Bad performance for the CPU and GPU and many other issues
– No re mapping for the K&M or no Gamepad support
– No 21:9 support or multi screen
– Zombie damage unbalanced
– Weapons feel bad and weak
– Stuttering in game that hampers the gameplay
– Can’t play solo and rely on a MP community
Hopefully you get the point by now. There could be many other game balancing issues, gameplay mechanic issues, content issues, performance issues, network issues, progression issues, combat issues, etc that all effect the gameplay and how good the game is that you can not tell from YouTube videos.
Personally I think the game looks cool and want to get it but you can never be sure from any video for any game until you play it and that is a fact.
