A lot of new trailers were released during the TGA 2024 event. As such, I’ve decided to collect those I haven’t posted in separate articles and share them in one big article.
So, below you can find the trailers for Solasta 2, Den of Wolves, The Outer Worlds 2, Catly, Kyora, Shadow Labyrinth, Midnight Murder Club and more.
One of the highlights is the trailer for the next Virtua Fighter game. Since I’m a big fan of fighting games, I’m really looking forward to it. The team behind it is Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the same studio responsible for Yakuza and Like a Dragon.
Another interesting game is STEEL HUNTERS. This is a free-to-play PvPvE shooter with futuristic mech battles. It will be using a third-person perspective and it looks quite fun. So, here is hoping that it won’t be plagued by grinding or pay-to-win mechanics.
Catly is another game that caught my attention. This is an interactive open-world adventure game starring beautiful and hyper-realistic cats. Catly is said to be a love letter to cats, made for cat lovers by cat lovers. Every encounter celebrates cat mannerisms that showcase cats’ playfulness, grace, coziness, and mischief.
The portal-jumping first-person shooter, Splitgate 2, also received a new gameplay trailer. Splitgate 2 is a 4v4 free-to-play shooter that allows players to use portals. Players will choose their faction, customize their weapons, master their portal skills, and play with friends as they compete for glory in a galactic arena. The game targets a 2025 release date on PC.

Outer Worlds 2 coming out in the same year as Avowed really has me surprised considering they have other games being worked on at the same time but good on Obsidian for being able to retain workers by keeping the cycles going. Dispatch looks very interesting, I hope its the whole game out at once instead of episodes. Solasta 2 and the Dave the Diver Jungle look interesting enough for me to check out the originals before they come out next year.
Hope Outer Worlds 2 is more interesting. I don't remember what the main plot in the first one was even about. Did enjoy the game but really didn't care for whatever the main mission was.
It was about how evil the corporations are, just like every single-player RPG these days.
It was pretty forgettable, apart from the moon head? guy. Basically, capitalism is bad and we should all be living equally as bottom-dwellers in a Stalinism type situation… was the general message.
Yeah, obsidian seems to prioritize politic messaging before good games. Their writing have gone from good to shallow and politically correct – Heck even a toddler would have been able to bring a more interesting story with substance in it, where do they find those "writers" ? Suspect didnt earn it hires who been studying to become mediators for HR / HE departments (Human Resources / Human Exploitation- Depending on company)
I love it when people who are barely capable of stringing two coherent sentences together say things like "even a toddler could write better." It really drives home the meaninglessness of most commenters' "opinions."

The Outer Worlds 2 looks like expansion pack.
