New official RPCS3 video shows major improvements in Uncharted, Ni No Kuni, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 & more

The team behind the best emulator for Playstation 3, RPCS3, has released a brand new video showing some of the major improvements and changes that the team has implemented from December and January.

According to the team, performance improvements from Nekotekina’s Approximate Xfloat implementation (as seen in the previous GoW 3 video) continue to impress as Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Ni No Kuni, Sly Cooper Thieves in Time and Uncharted see a big performance uplift. Meanwhile, kd-11 continues to make a slew of graphical improvements and Ruipin implements audio buffering.

RPCS3 has been improving at a stable pace and while it does not break any emulation records like the WiiU emulator CEMU currently does, it still is making an incredible progress.

Enjoy the video and stay tuned for more!

  1. Im always facinated by emulators developing it gives you so much insight in how those system handles those games

  2. Good, good, very good PC, Sony more and more without exclusive games, G. of War being played on PC, Uncharted on PC, Motorstorm, Killzone, Heavy Rain, Gran Turismo, inFamous, The Last of Us, Ratchet and Clank, Persona 5 (all playable on PC soon) and many more games can already be played in PC emulators and with much more quality, soon we will have even more performance and quality in emulated games !!! ????

    1. No Bloodborne tough! That’s a real shame, that game would look sick in 4k and 60+ fps!

Played the PS Now version, is like having your eyes smeared with sheeet!

      1. Bloodborne is for PS4 and not for PS3 and the news is just about the PS3 emulator for PC and not about the PS4 emulator, which is already in development. Bloodborne even on PS4 runs at a measly 20 to 30 fps maximum, it’s a shame for a console to run this game with such a bad framerate!!!

  3. Why the fck would you emulate Revelations 2 when it’s a multiplatform game and the superior version runs flawlessly on PC?
