YouTube’s ‘Bahamut Video Game Madness’ has shared a video, showcasing 7 minutes of new gameplay footage from Unending Dawn. This is off-screen footage, captured at the PlayStation booth at ChinaJoy 2025.
Unending Dawn feels like a mix between Elden Ring, Sekiro, and Genshin Impact. For instance, the game’s environments are similar to what we saw in Elden Ring. On the other hand, its art style is closer to Genshin Impact. So, think of this game as a hybrid between these two games. So, some may love it while others may hate it.
The combat mechanics of Unending Dawn are heavily inspired by Sekiro. Players will be able to parry enemy attacks. And, like in Sekiro and Wo Long, you will be able to break your enemy’s poise to get big finishers. Plus, the game appears to have some special moves. These moves are at the bottom right and are similar to those of Genshin Impact. And yes, there will be boss fights in it.
In August 2024, it was confirmed that this new open-world action game will come to PC alongside the PS5 version. Sadly, though, there is no specific ETA on when the game will come out.
Lately, we’ve been getting a lot of Souls-like games. So, I hope Unending Dawn will be a bit better than WUCHANG or AI Limit. I’m not a big Souls fan and I’ve already got bored from the all of them. And in the coming months, we’ll get even more. Later this month, we’ll get Lost Soul Aside.
Finally, there is no Steam or EGS for this game as of yet. So, we can safely assume that it won’t come out this year. Realistically, we’re looking at a 2026 game. So, it will be a while until we get our hands on it.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
