New in-engine trailer released for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

It’s been a while since our last look on Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, don’t you agree? Well, good news everyone as Paradox Interactive has released a brand new in-engine trailer for it.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is the successor to the cult-classic Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. The game will feature reactive storytelling, fast-paced combat, and compelling characters with their own hidden motives.

In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, players will immerse themselves in the World of Darkness and live out their vampire fantasy in a city filled with intriguing characters that react to their choices. According to the game’s description, their unique disciplines are a weapon in their forward-driving, fast-moving, melee-focussed combat system.

The game still targets a 2020 release date. Unfortunately, though, we don’t have a more specific date.

Enjoy!

  1. the environments look great but the faces and the facial animations are sub-par I am afraid.
looks good enough though, need to see some gameplay first

    1. have you seen abby from last of us 2?

All i could think after seeing that abomination was

      “TRANSNOMACHINES SON”

  2. I just finish Bloodlines. Like a week ago. It still holds up, even in 2020. What a fun game that was. Only the combat was kind of baad. 99% of the rest was amazing tho.

If this is even 50% of what the original game was.. we are in for a threat!

    1. The first VTMB really was an overlooked classic. It released prematurely on the same day as Half Life 2 so of course HL2 stole the spotlight but Wesp5 patched and polished the game and finished some incomplete sections and made the game great. He’s still working on the game to this day. That’s serious dedication.

The last time I played VTMB I only ran across one bug. A door that I had to go through to finish the level was stuck halfway open and I couldn’t open it to go through and nothing was blocking it. I just used noclip to get through and went on with the game.

      1. Speaking of Half-life, i used all the cheats for a second playthru. Trying a new vampire.
I kind of love that engine. Its easy to tweak, cheat and just simply works. Its the perfect game for a crappy laptop too. Runs in 1080p, 60 fps and max settings. The gameplay is also long and it wont take 100 gigs of the already expensive (yet small) SSD
