SNK has released a brand new gameplay trailer for its upcoming Samurai Shodown game, Samurai Spirits. This new trailer showcases some of the new 3D models and environments, so we strongly suggest watching it if you are interested in this particular fighting series.
Samurai Spirits will feature 3D visuals but will retain its 2D fighting gameplay style, will be powered by Unreal Engine Samurai Spirits, and its official teaser trailer confirmed the return of some characters like Haohmaru, Jubei Yagyu, Nakoruru, Earthquake, Galford, Ukyo, Genjuro, Tamtam and Hanzo.
SNK has confirmed that Samurai Spirits will be coming to the PC alongside its console versions in Q2 2019.
Enjoy!

That looked surprisingly decent.
Yeah. This bring me back so much memories, i just wished that it was high quality 2D Draw art instead but i guess it’s just my nostalgia talking as i play the NEO-GEO games to this day.
AES, MVS or via emulation?
Emulation. Unfortunaly MSV that would be my prefered choice is incredebly rare and expensive in my country.
If you had a complete collection of original AES cartridges then you’d probably be on first name terms with your bank manager, haha!
Oh indeed.
Graphics and animation seem like a huge improvement over KoF XIV and the derp faces appear to be fixed.
I just wish SNK didn’t change the gameplay to a fu**ing 1 button combo with super on the end to suit 10 year olds. I miss when fighting games needed proper combo connections
They need to toning down all the slash effects. It looks like Dragonball Fighterz with weapons.
Samurai Showdown was a great arcade series, glad it’s coming to the PC
