Warner Bros has released a new gameplay trailer for Middle Earth: Shadow of War that focuses on its open-world environments. Developed by Monolith, Middle-earth: Shadow of War features an original story with the return of Talion and Celebrimbor, who must go behind enemy lines to forge an army and turn all of Mordor against the Dark Lord, Sauron.
The open-world action-adventure game is brought to life through the expansion of the award-winning Nemesis System. The robust personalization from the first game is now applied to the entire world where the environments and characters are all shaped by player actions and decisions, creating a personal world unique to every gameplay experience.
Set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Middle-earth: Shadow of War continues the original narrative of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. Players will be engrossed in a richer, more personal and expansive world full of epic heroes and villains, iconic locations, original enemy types, even more personalities and a new cast of characters with untold stories.
Middle-earth: Shadow of War will be available on August 25th.
Enjoy!

One of the few flat games I’m hyped for.
flat games ?
Non-VR games. Games played on a TV/monitor.
Better than a fat whale game sucking up your wellfare check and turning your kids fat after the divorce….
Don’t even get me started on those games!
LOL
The first game had these large empty hubs. Now unless this time they actually put something meaningful in these open world environment I’m fairly certain this is going to suffer from the same repetitiveness that the first one suffered.
Anyway still going to play this just to see how the new nemesis system works this time around. That is one aspect of this game that I’m exited about.
Empty hubs what are you on about?
As in large areas with nothing interesting to do outside of main story. This might have worked in shadow of mordor as it was not actually open world.
But this time they are going with fully open world so if they don’t have anything interesting outside of main story it is going to get repetitive very quick and the whole world will just feel more empty. That’s all I’m saying.
ye, and a very unmemorable story line at that. The one semi interesting character (being the orc you save) gets killed. a yawn fest from start to finish. Looks like they are actually doing different environments and terrain this time round though.
Next time warn about spoilers, jeez… I hate people like you :@
Seriously? Like, sure, on the one hand, I get it, but on the other; it’s been out for years, & the story is sh*t, anyway.
I never post spoilers, but when it was released 30 September 2014 and if you haven’t played it by with all the steam sale i doubt you ever will.
Really hyped for this loved the first and I am sure that this will be even better.
