Ubisoft has released a new behind the scenes video for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in which the developers discuss new combat innovations, custom fighting styles, and special abilities.
In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey players will take control of their destiny and write their own epic odyssey as they journey to become a legendary Spartan hero.
The game promises to let players experience incredible adventures in a world where every choice matters. Rejected by their family, players will have to embark on an adventure from outcast mercenary to legendary Spartan hero to uncover the truth about their past.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey releases on October 5th!

Remember when Ubisoft blamed DX11 for it’s drawcall limitations with ACU? And yet we keep getting AC games that don’t look as good as ACU in many aspects while still being under DX11…
This might have DX12.
Yeah … if only Ubisoft would switch to DX12/Vulkan already. Assassin’s Creed games would benefit tremendously from an engine massively optimized CPU wise.
Ubisoft got hit in the face so HARD when they discovered how trash these console CPUs are. they toned it down and never dare risking it again.
Go play Unity and then right after that play Origins, there is no comparison Origins is way better visually and ever other aspect as well.
Odyssey will be the first game in the series that uses the new version of the AnvilNext engine that has been updated to DX12. I am sure Odyssey will look the best out of all of them or at least be as good as Origins but with better performance.
well its great that assasin creed has come so far and has a good combat system but other than that….
So he wears an invisible nanosuit? That would explain the power-kicks and health regeneration and the enemies inability to spot him in that bush.

Game looks incredible! I love Origins so much, the new format for Assassin’s Creed is a dream come true for me, I hope they never change it.
Next video is Naval gameplay(can’t wait to see that), pretty insane that is in the game as well. My body is ready.

Uh, pretty much everything. GTA series, AC 2, RDR, JC series, Fallout series, TES series and Mafia series to name a few. Heck even Division and Watch Dogs are better. The fact that you glorify and praise Origins is beyond me.

Then you go and praise AC 2, The Division and Watch Dogs 1 which are all made by Ubisoft. You should google the word hypocrite. So do you hate Ubisoft or love them? None of the three Ubisoft games you mentioned even come close to Origins did you even play it? Let me answer that for you “I don’t own it or have ever played it.”.
You know RDR is a console exclusive right, do you even game on the PC or just have a console? Did you even read my question, it is only one sentence long…? I guess you missed “on the PC”, RDR is not on the PC.

Oh let me help you out since your such a nice person it scored a 84 out of a 100 on the PC. So it’s not just my opinion it’s the opinion of the majority of the PC community. Also on Steam it has a very positive rating so again it’s not just me it’s pretty much everyone’s opinion in the PC community.

Let me stop you right there. You asked which games were better. I gave you a list, the fact that they are made by Ubisoft isn’t part of the discussion. Besides: Division is developed by Massive. Get your facts straight son. Besides 2: I never praised these games, I only said they were better than Origins. That’s a huge difference.
