It appears that two videos with brand new, never before seen, gameplay footage from Alan Wake 2 have been leaked online. These two videos show, in total, four minutes of gameplay footage, and we highly recommend watching them.
In Alan Wake 2, players will continue the writer’s story and experience Remedy’s first foray into survival horror. According to the developers, players will assume the role of both Alan Wake and a new female FBI agent. And, from the looks of it, their stories will be interconnected.
The first video focuses on the investigation part of the game. When controlling the female FBI agent, Saga Anderson, players will have at their disposal a case board.
The second video showcases some of the game’s combat. From the looks of it, this is an extended version of the video that Remedy showcased at the Summer Game Fest 2023.
Alan Wake II will release on PC via the Epic Games Store on October 17th.
Lastly, I strongly suggest watching these videos while they are still up. My guess is that Remedy and Epic Games will take them down shortly.

Well, hopefully, there will be some naughty mods that will make this Alan Wokeisation fun…
Imagine what this game could’ve been with a standalone survival horror story and only Alan as the protagonist. Would’ve been instant classic with such graphics instead of being a topic of wokefestation.

Just so you know: People of same color as that women will hate this game, they call it pandering. Sam Lake and Remedy finally gone insane in Twin Peaks.
The original game has a female black cop too I think. By the sound of it she is a kid of one of the Anderson brothers. Control was so good I’ll wait and see.
control was an absolute mess a mixture of a premise for a story but after reading and listening to all the bazillion of logs the story went nowhere, by the end i got more questions than answers the combat sucked, enemies were bulletspongy and they copied souls like games but with respawning enemies that shoot you from behind and no festus flask to heal yourself, so stupid, most of the game was repetitive filler quests and the upgrade system sucked. “So good” isnt what i would call control. Some parts of it were somewhere in the vicinity of “good” while most of the game was a mess of stuff that doesnt work well together.
The answers are all from Alan Wake dude. She and her brother are made up. They are one person split into two. Alan wrote her into existence to free himself. Or he transformed his girlfriend into her.

It looks like judging by all their presentation so far, you’ll play most of the game as muh stronk womyn character. Then what’s even the point calling it alan wake? He is like a side character in his own story

-control had too bright environments so in response they made them too dark
-copying re 2 remake combat because it wasnt clunky enough.

Alan wake was boring with crappy repetitive combat, quantum break combat sucked and was too scripted and linear, control was an utter mess with a mysterious story pretending to be deep but it was made up nonsense that lead to nowhere and by the end of the game nothing was answered and we got more questions than answers, also the combat sucked and it was super badly optimized just like quantum break and then we got crossfire x, which was an abomination.
Remedy has not made a good game since max payne 2.
