Metro Exodus gets a new cinematic CGI trailer

Deep Silver and 4A Games have unveiled a spectacular CGI animated short, Artyom’s Nightmare. In this dream-like prologue to the events of Metro Exodus, we explore Artyom’s hopes and fears of a life beyond the ruins of the Moscow Metro.

As its description reads:

“A quarter century after nuclear war devastated the Earth, a few thousand survivors took refuge in the Moscow Metro. They believed they were the last remnants of humanity – but they were wrong. Only Artyom dared to dream of a life on the surface. It’s time to leave the ruins of Moscow and journey beyond. But dreams can quickly turn to nightmares …”

Created by the master animators of Platige Image in collaboration with 4A Games, Artyom’s Nightmare brings the haunting world of Metro to life as fans have never seen it before.

Dmitry Glukhovsky, author of the original Metro novels, said:

“Watching 4A Games take my characters off the page and onto the screen has been a privilege. I hope fans will enjoy this new glimpse into Artyom’s world.”

Metro Exodus is currently scheduled for a February 15th release!

  1. What happens to your purchases when Epic’s store fails? Do not buy from stores that restrict consumer choice.

    1. There isn’t much of a way for an online store to really fail. I mean, they’re cheap to run with a tiny amount of overhead. They’ll stick around.

  2. interesting short film on it’s own.
seems like artyom moves in different semi open world areas each season. hopefully there are more of snowy missions than anything else.

  3. Im sure it will immediately sell well….even to those whining incessantly about the drama.

    I’ll wait for Steam sales.

      1. I saw someone had a Box Art that says, “Metro Exodus: CPY Edition”. That was most hilarious, too bad I can’t find it.

        1. OK, please read before saying it is out of context/subject…here’s a link to a review of R6 Siege, made by a Chinese gamer called “peachland”.

He is explaining HOW videogaming is working in China: https://steamcommunity.com/id/862819561/recommended/359550/

After reading this, you will know TENCENT, a disgusting chinese shareholder company that is behind the PAY 2 WIN era…

And after that, you need to know this: TENCENT OWN EPIC SINCE 2012. They killed Unreal Tournament to force them making SH*T BATTLE ROYAL GAMES LIKE FARTNITE

Tencent capitalisation is like, 525 BILLIONS $$$

        1. man i bought the game not epic garbage , i don’t care about the store or not having reviews on it or other things, i bought the game cause it s promissing , because the devlopers spent 5 years working on it and i wanna support them , i could wait for the crack version but i will hurt only the devlopers and the franchise not store
if you think metro is garbage then we dont have the same notion of garbage

          1. NO! I’M A FAN OF THE METRO SERIES.

BUT, there must be a reason why you just payed 16,99$ for this AAA game ? You don’t already own titles on Epic/Tencent communist store..??
Anyway, thats is what I was talking about…

And BTW, at this price, I don’t see money going to the developpers…

          2. i paid this price cause epic is practicing regional pricing , i live in north africa where the minimum wages are 200$ , you don’t expect from the people making less than 10$ a day to pay for a game 60$
i think it s a very smart move cause they are limiting piracy
why the money won’t go to developpoers ? in my case i can afford a game for 60 bucks and was about to precommand it just before they changed stores so they lost 42$
but there is thousands and thousands of peope in africa or in other poor countries who couldnt pay that price and were waiting for the cracked version , but now there is a big probability that they will pay for the game

          3. we are talking about minimal wages here 😀
not all the people make only that kind of money , but for those who make more than 500$ can pay for the electricity and buy a computer if saving for a while , my self i make more than 10 times the minimal wages , i can afford a nice setup of 3k or 4k praticly i can afford what you can afford in the usa with with 80k a year , cause we don’t have the same expences

    1. If you make 600 euros a month you need to find a job rather than worry about games. That’s poverty. That’s extreme poverty. There are hobos in America who make more than that a month.

    2. And, if it’s 15-16$ on Epic communist store, where is the $$$ that supposed to go to the developpers ?? There’s something wrong in there… like often with !”%&?$ Chinese companies…

    3. Where do you live? In germany it’s still 60 Euros. There’s really no reason to use the Epic Store at all.

  4. John you should correct the article, the release date is not the correct one, after all it will launch at 15/02/2020.

  5. Forget 4-Days Early-Access that some recent games have been offering, the Steam Pre-Order incentive for Metro Exodus was 365-Days Early-Access.

    1. We all want this game, we just don’t want to give money to the disgusting communist mother company that own Epic –> Tencent
