Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater gets first official in-engine video

Konami released the first official in-engine video for its upcoming remake of MGS 3, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be powered by Unreal Engine 5, and this pre-alpha video will give you a glimpse of its graphics.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be a faithful recreation of the original story and game design. Moreover, its development team will be evolving the gameplay with stunning visuals and a seamless user experience.

In this game, players will outsmart enemies with camouflage, close-quarters combat, stalking, interrogating, climbing, hunting and treating injuries. Moreover, they will pit themselves against an environment where traps catch enemies and prey, threats lurk in the shadows and noises alert predators.

There is currently no ETA on when this game will come out. As always, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Enjoy!

  1. Gotta give it to Konami, looks so damn beautiful ❤👌🏻 and I know they didnt work on the game, but it’s nice to at least push for a remake from them

  3. I kinda wish they’d do more smaller set piece games, I still like MGS Ground Zeroes better than V because it was more sneaky gameplay and a dense small map, whereas V had a couple of huge maps that were largely empty. Although 3 being smaller scope is going to be fine. But imagine a smaller collection of classic levels done w the care that GZ was, say the ship level from 2 and the battle torn urban level from 4, maybe the main village from V or the oil refinery, just more focused and fleshed out with modern graphics and controls. No original writing needed mostly so konami won’t have to spend on that nor come up with it.

And hoping that SH2 Remake is true to the original as much as possible, it looks like they “alan waked” the main character though totally different looking “soft” Tman, so keeping hopes in check of course.

  5. Now THIS is how you make a 1:1 remake and not some half-assed re-imagined “remakes” and sell it to the simps to eat it up , Konami nailed this i’m so proud

  6. MY F*KING GOD! THIS IS GOING TO BE EPIC. I don’t think I have been more hyped for a game since the OG MGS3 came out. I wonder if this will have multiplayer? It doesn’t matter. I can’t wait to play this. Sorry Kojimbo. This is what you should’ve done. TPP was unfinished crap. This is Beautiful. I would love to see them put out a flawless MG game without Kojima.

  7. Don’t get excited and buy into the hype, this will be massively downgraded and the game itself will also suck, the “gameplay” clips also look fake and scripted. If the Master Collection fiasco did not give you a hint of what to expect, I don’t know what will.

    1. fun fact, usually all metal gear games sustain visuals over the years from their second showing. MGS 5: GZ stayed practically the same for years to it’s release. E3 2k12 https://youtu.be/SV537LLrnlo
      Final https://youtu.be/okgkgNTMg5s

of course depending on your hardware you may experience some changes there. like frame-rate and res. but seeing how MGS3 Delta will be using Unreal Engine it should be able to support the hardware types.

    2. My guy, stop the misinformation. There won’t be any downgrade like with
Ubisoft and others. Why? Well, it’s just UE5, man, and Nanite. The game
runs in real-time, and if you know the series even a bit, you should
understand that it’s not a scripted gameplay at all because that’s
exactly how we play in the original game. Absolutely nothing shocking,
so apart from your closed-minded and simply misleading comment.

  8. Beautiful. I’m excited that it plays like MgsV but have more grounded approach to stealth. Looking forward to it.

  9. Oh that bridge. This is the coolest game I’ve ever played, be it gameplay-wise or story-wise.
    Can’t wait for this!
