Lost Soul Aside feature-2

Lost Soul Aside Showcases Arena Powers in New Trailer

Sony has released a brand new trailer for Lost Soul Aside. This trailer shows how Arena’s abilities can supercharge your combat potential. So, make sure to watch the trailer if you are interested in it.

Lost Soul Aside started as an action Unreal Engine 4 indie game, inspired by Final Fantasy XV. The game’s protagonist was based on FFXV’s Noctis, and the game quickly got everyone’s attention. That was back in 2016.

In this game, players will chain lightning-fast combos, learn new abilities, and upgrade their weapons as they take on formidable enemies and colossal bosses in fast, dynamic combat.

The game promises το have fast and exciting combat that will test your reflexes and focus. You can get stronger by using attack combos powered by each weapon’s special stats. You’ll also be able to switch weapons quickly and mix their powers to do even more damage.

You’ll be able to use powerful skills from a dragon-like creature called Arena. These Arena Powers can make your attacks stronger, help you heal faster, or give you shields for protection. You can also do cool, powerful moves by pressing buttons at just the right time during combos. As you fight, you’ll build up a Fusion Gauge. When it’s full, Arena’s claws will appear and strike your enemies. This special ability gets stronger and unlocks new moves as Kaser goes further in his journey. Plus, you will rely on parry and dodge in order to stay alive.

In this game, you’ll get the chance to upgrade and customize your weapons in really fun ways. To do this, you’ll collect special items called weapon fragments during your adventure. Each fragment has its own power. Some fragments can change how your weapon looks, making it cooler and more unique. Others can make your attacks much stronger, help you heal faster in tough battles, or even improve the way you fight. The best part is that you don’t have to stick with just one fragment – you can mix and match different ones. This lets you create awesome combos and powerful effects. Over time, you can keep experimenting until you’ve built the ultimate weapon that perfectly fits your playstyle.

Lost Soul Aside will be using Unreal Engine 4, and it will have Ray Tracing. The devs will use RT to enhance the game’s shadows, reflections, and lighting. There will also be support for DLSS 4 from the get-go. However, there is no word on whether we’ll also get DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen support or not.

Sony will release Lost Soul Aside on August 29th. You can also find its official PC requirements here.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. I don't know if it's just me, but the game looks like it's simply a boring and meaningless boss rush game and literally nothing else, it just feels so empty and the world has no soul to it whatsoever, just fight a boss in a large, empty arena, move to the next large and empty arena and so on with literally nothing in-between. And that is judging from almost every single trailer ever released for a decade now since 2016.

Literally, the game was first announced for a decade now, and it hasn't changed for even one bit from how it originally looked or what it was about since then.
