  1. yeah. at first it had SP, but then they changed it to an MMO. and it’s almost 7years but no release date

  2. I’ve seen quite a bit of gaming and this game looks trash compared to the original xbox games. Hearing the news that they scrapped the singleplayer just topped it off. The mission design was KUF’s strong point, but all they have now is extremely linear levels where they send a few blobs of enemies when conveniently find yourself in one of the circles in the snake they call a map.

In the xbox KUFs, the playable characters were actual units and they served as a fun little action packed diversion for people who didn’t want to just watch units fight. Now the characters are the usual korean action game characters who can kill 30 people in 5 seconds by pressing mb1 and mb2 at different times and the RTS bit look like a little gimmick attached to this generic instanced korean action game.

It’s like the only thing the usual korean dev can do well is to program ways to keep people buying shit. Gambling mechanics, expensive gun rentals and horrific grinds because their games have the worst map design I’ve had the misfortune of experiencing.

I’m almost certain that some BS happened to Phantagram and they were forced to turn KUF 2 into an MMO and hired some devs who hop from generic MMO dev to the next as that can be the only explanation for that TERRIBLE mission design.
