Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 feature-2

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Just Got a New Gameplay “Saints and Sinners” Trailer

Deep Silver has released a new gameplay trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This trailer shows off the beautiful visuals of the game which will be powered by the latest version of CRYENGINE. And, from the looks of it, this will be one of the best-looking PC games of 2024.

In KC:D2, players will assume the role of Henry of Skalitz who is caught in a gripping tale of revenge, betrayal and discovery as he embarks on an epic journey, ‘from a humble blacksmith’s forge to the court of Kings’, as he searches for purpose in this beautiful but brutal medieval world. The game is set amid the chaos of a civil war in 15th Century Bohemia.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will come out on PC later this year. The game will also support both NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR, which should make it run faster. However, there’s no word yet on whether it’ll also support Frame Generation.

Although Warhorse has not yet shared the game’s PC requirements, last month, Daniel Vavra claimed that the NVIDIA RTX 4080 Super can run Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 with 60fps at 4K/Very High Settings. So, this should give us a small idea of how the game runs on a high-end PC system.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. This game looked fantastic. I really didn't hear anything about the first game when it came out, and then when the sequel was announced a couple months ago, I decided to play it last month for our Game Of The Month and it's incredible! I can't wait for this!!

      1. No not yet, I plan on trying to get through everything before the sequel comes out later this year. Is the DLC worth it, or is it like most DLC that seems like an afterthought?

    1. I think we should be happy that CryTek manages to stay alive and fund further development on CryEngine.

And from the looks of it, the current version of it does seem to be pretty well optimized.

I did a quick search and saw someone mention that Hunt Showdown is able to run with 60 FPS on a Steam Deck while still looking decent, which is quite an accomplishment, for both CryTek & Valve.

      1. Wut? This has already been discussed before. That outdated engine has been dead for years. Kebab bros (Yerlis) have killed it with their greed and degeneracy. They are more worried about supporting pedos, transgenders, gays, terrorists and other scums than about their own company and the engine.

PS. Steam Deck can run one of the most unoptimized games ever – Crysis at 60fps with medium settings.

    2. Yeah, it's true that the first one was cutting edge and this isn't at all, and also it's somewhat telling of the state of CryEngine, and it's not too surprising knowing how it went radio silence as an engine years ago, other than what we see in Hunt Showdown.

But I'm fine anyways, i enjoy but don't necessarily need the very latest and greatest these days.

      1. It's not about "the very latest and greatest". KCD2 looks and because of that feels like just a mere DLC for the original game.

  2. The storyline and overall dialogues style are totally like GTA, which is a VERY bad sign.
The exaggerated gestures(which look very modern), the constant … humor(??), and the feeling that nobody takes anything seriously…

The first game felt like a realistic and fascinating depiction of the Middle Ages…
This sequel looks like it's going to be parody of itself.
But well, gaming developers know that it's the only way to sell to GenZ/GenA degenerates.

Still going to give it a chance when it comes out, since they're the only games in the world about my people.

    1. Uhm, i know that those are the typical signs of a game going r*tard*d because of targeting american audience/teens, i recognize that sign everywhere,
…but this trailer didn't look like it, it just looks like some very flat 'attempts at humor' thrown in a trailer that still has serious undertones in its scenes, situations and topics.
If KCD had something bad, is that for as much as it felt authentic, it had the charm of a rock. None at all.
IMO, rest assured the game is safe. Just don't count on Vavra and Co to animate your parties.
