IGN has shared a video, showcasing almost an hour of new gameplay footage from Crimson Desert. Crimson Desert is an open-world action-adventure game, and this video will give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from it.
In this video, we meet Kliff, the main character of Crimson Desert. We get to see some of the game’s fighting moves as he runs into a group called the Black Bears, has an intense one-on-one duel, and faces a tough enemy called the Split Horn.
Crimson Desert will be using Pearl Abyss’ own engine, the BlackSpace Engine. And overall, the game looks great. From what I can see, there is also no downgrade. However, by today’s standards, Crimson Desert is not as hot as it was back in 2020. That was four years ago. To its credit, Pearl Abyss was able to match the quality of its early demos. Still, the game’s lighting feels a bit dated nowadays.
Anyway, I just hope the gameplay will be worth it. The good news here is that Crimson Desert is a single-player game. Back in 2020, it was an open-world MMORPG. During development, though, Pearl Abyss pivoted and made it an SP title. And, honestly, I’m glad it’s no longer an MMORPG. After all, I’m a big fan of single-player games.
And that is that. We don’t have any new details to share about it. Pearl Abyss hasn’t shared any PC requirements, and we don’t know whether or not the game will support Ray Tracing or DLSS/XeSS. However, we do know that the devs plan to add support for AMD FSR 3.0. Thus, it should be easy to also add support for NVIDIA’s and Intel’s upscaling techs.
There is currently no ETA on when the game will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Enjoy the video and sta tuned for more!

I really hope this game manages to set itself a part from the design of Ubisoft open world games.
Realy its a Single Player game ? Hooray !
i thought it was going to be another annoying MMORPG with a UI with too many info blocking the world and gameplay. Annoying running high level players in mounts that take 1000 years to grind
Quite boring compared to its previous trailers.
I'm actually looking forward to this game. Really hope it's a solid action game, with good storyline.
Absolutely hate the red screen effect around the edges of the screen every time you take damage
At around 11:00 his feet are sinking into the cobblestones like they are mud and even sounds like he is walking through wet muddy ground rather than cobblestones. In fact it doesn't matter what surface or whether it is outside or indoors it still sounds like he is sloshing through mud and everywhere he goes there is water coming off his feet …… It's really weird and disturbing. Maybe they just don't have the other sounds ready and they'll be added later
I did like the world space and didn't see any LOD pop ins which is encouraging but it definitely needs more time in the oven and some polishing
It looks like it might be a decent game from that.
Some parts look beautiful. That's the only good thing I have to say.
I don't know ANYTHING about the story/lore, but that weird mix of some medieval-looking European region and then something which looks like the Animus in Assassin's Creed (14:30) is a MAJOR turnoff for me.
Most scenes that involve "magic" look like glitches in the matrix or something. lol
Very very weird aesthetics and art direction.
But I shouldn't be surprised, it's South Korean.🤢🤢🤢
These people clearly don't understand anything about our cultures.
Oh well… Ubisoft just made a game about a black samurai, after all.
It's trendy to show disrespect to cultures we don't know s*** about, apparently.
The game is labeled "medieval fantastic", but I'm afraid that it's going to be again one of those weird Asian "medieval sci-fi" games…
I'd rather reinstall the old Gothic games, thank you.
And I'll keep an eye on Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
European RPGs >>>> Asian RPGs
There's too much particle effects
OMG, I cant believe this might actually come out. Please gaming gods have the retarded gaming masses make this a hit and END the Western POZ. Gamers are gamings worst enemy. Cod, Gta, Nba, F2P has destroyed the ART.
