Resident Evil Requiem feature-3

Here’s the second official trailer for Resident Evil Requiem

Capcom has just released the second official in-engine trailer for Resident Evil Requiem. According to the team, the in-engine and gameplay footage that is shown in this trailer is from the PC version.

Resident Evil Requiem will be a single-player survival horror game. You’ll play as Grace Ashcroft, and your goal is to stay alive in a terrifying adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The devs say that with new technology and their experience, the game will have strong characters and really immersive gameplay. This new RE game aims to pull you into the story more than ever before. Players will also return to Raccoon City.

The concept for this game was “addictive fear“. Since horror is one of the most important aspects of the series, the devs wanted to make this fear factor a key feature of the gameplay. As such, Grace will learn to overcome her fears throughout the course of the story.

The game will be set 30 years after the missile strike on Raccoon City. As the devs noted, Resident Evil is tied to both Umbrella and Raccoon City. And that’s why they wanted to go back to the outbreak.

Although Capcom hasn’t yet shared the game’s PC requirements, we know that it will support Path Tracing on PC. We can also safely assume that it will use the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.

Capcom will release Resident Evil Requiem on February 27th, 2026.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. I like the overall theme and the setting, I just don't like the main character because she looks like a nerdy s3x doll. I'm somewhat optimistic though

    1. >even moans like a real girl

Mmmm getting a little weird there fren. Almost reads like a review of a blow-up doll or something lul

  2. Another walking sim, open world slop. The second trailer just confirms the suspicions. Definitely not wasting money on this one.

  3. Resident Evil is DEAD , don't cover $hit regarding this game unless they announce something noteworthy like CVX remake or Outbreak remaster
