        1. Forza Motorsport 5, 6 always have full 1080p in 60fps on Xbox One. Also open world Forza Horizon 2 was full 1080p. You clearly never play any Forza on Xbox.

          1. Well, he’s actually right. Most if not all of the XBox One exclusives run at 1080p 60fps. Real 1080p or upscaled, that’s another story.

      1. You need 6800k and GTX GTX 1080 to run all current games at max settings 60 fps. I got a 1440p monitor 1,5 month and can play evrything at max settings 30-40 fps(few games work on 60 fps too like just cause 3) on my 2500k gtx 970

      1. I thing that after Xbox Scorpio all games including Halo 6 will be shared between Windows 10 and Xbox Scorpio. Future of Windows 10 and Xbox is simple:

        – single cross buy between PC and Xbox
        – all MS games exclusive to DirectX 12
        – all games shared between Windows 10 and Windows Store (UWP)
        – shared multiplayer between PC and Xbox

          1. Yes: All MS games will be UWP. Like Forza Motporsport 6 Apex, Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4 etc. Thanks to UWP you can have single cross buy between PC and Xbox.

          2. I like the single buy across system. But right now i just read the news that QB will be on steam. Mark my words, i ain’t givin a single cent to W10 store anymore.

      2. It is 1,5 years away. That a long time. PC’S are already lot more powerful than xbox scorprio. All microsoft games can be played at max settings 4k 60 fps on a high end pc(core i7 6800k GTX 1080). I dont think xbox scorprio will have the power of a pc with these specs unless micorost wantes to release a 2000 euros console

        1. I believe Scorpio will target 4k at maybe 30fps, or they’ll shoot for a intermediate, like 2560×1440 and upscale to native 4k. They will also be taking advantage of TV/Monitors with HDR capabilities. Of course it wouldn’t be as powerful as a PC, and your correct those with good machines are gonna sell it and buy a Scorpio, but I can predominately console players flick to which ever is the most powerful console

          1. Considering Nvidia’s 1080 isn’t doing 4K gaming well, these consoles will yet again have dumbed down graphics to try and hit a 4k/30FPS threshold which I am sure will dip down into the 20’s as with the current gen @ 1080p. Hopefully no one is expecting miracles.

          2. Meant to say aren’t gonna sell their machines to buy a less powerful console.
I dunno, 4K performance is variable, I have sli 980’s and can run several games (esp if they have sli support) at 4K 60, usually the only setting I drop is anti aliasing as A, at that resolution it takes a ton of gpu proccesing to provide 2x3xso one coverage, and B. Dimishing returns of AA with higher resolutions, you can start to see that kick in 1440p actually. There are of course some games that just don’t run well at 4k with our current hardware (Quantum Break) comes to mind, but you’d be surprised at how many actually do. I general notice about a 20fps hit moving up from 2560×1440 to 4k. Which still leaves plenty of free overhead in a came like the new Battlefront, where due to excellent scaling of the frostite 3 engnie will run at 150-140 fps at 1440 and like 105 to 115 at 4k

          3. Bit of an exaggeration about the 1080 not running 4k. I got you and I forgot about the AA and really almost no need when running at 4k, even as you said 1440 it starts to be less visible. These new consoles will be running the equivalent to what a 460/470? My main point is 4k on those I don’t see as a viable option.

          4. Yeah, I can see that. Not really sure what they going to be running. I just know Microsoft is probably willing to take a loss on HW sales, if it means they say they have the best “console” on the market. Oah that the Nintendo NX is going to run off a mobile chip.

          5. MS always takes a loss on console sales. I did enjoy the Xbox and 360 days. What’s up with the NX? I read it would have a AMD GPU and others report some Tegra?? Either way done with Nintendo.

          6. Nx dev kits have the Tegra K1 (think Nvidia Shield) and the final is either going to be a modified K1 (overclocked?) or a new iteration in the line. What’s interesting is w/ Nintendo moving away from the Power PC architecture they’ve employed for the last few generations they will lose the hardware emulation that allowed Wii to play gamecube games, so they’ll probably build something like dolphin, but better since they have actual source access and are working direct with the HW manufacturers.

          7. It’s still going to be horribly limited by it’s HDD, long loading times, texture steaming issues, performance issues with streaming off the HDD and it’s probably going to be limited by the CPU again as AMD are not doing any Zen APUs unless they do something special for Scorpio, but for cost sake I don’t see it happening unless MS take a loss.

    1. The xbox one version will be crappy 1080p with worse graphics. While most of us will play it 1440p max settings(i got 1440p DellP2416D monitor 1,5 momths ago). Very very few has 4k monitor and the pc that is requires to run games at 4k max settings. So saying that they are using it to market xbox version dont kmake sense. And i dont care about racing games anyway so i will not play it. By the way how 4k vidoes look on 1440p monitor and what pc specs you need to watch 4k vidro with no issue?

      1. Something called DSR, everyone with the GPU power can use DSR or AMD’s equivalent. PC specs for 4K videos? Even a XBox One S can play 4K video for goodness sake, youtube you just need a fast internet connection and videos have been 3D accelerated for years.

        1. ? was using 1440p DSR from November 2014 that i bought GTX 970 till June 2016 that i bought real 1440p monitor. Now all games look much better than they did on the 1080p monitor with 1440p DSR. That not suprise since i went from crappy 21,5” 1080p IPS 140 euros monitor to a 300 euros 24” 1440p 60 hz IPS. Before i buy it i had the chance to test it on the shop because it was connected to a high end pc for people to test them. They also had 4k monitors running on monster pc(6950 k GTX 1080 32 GB DDR4) so i saw those in action and played them too. What i see now after 1,5 months with this monitor is that while games look much better than they did on 1080p there is not so much of difference between 1440p and 4k.

        2. What internet connection i need? Also how 4k movies will look on my 1440p monitor? I have to wait until Ultra Blue ray drivers releases on pc in 2017 but i would like to know how they will look?

          1. Like anything that’s higher resolution, sharper and more detailed. Speed wise you probably need 30-40MB/s speed connection. Of course native 4K looks best and a big monitor for 4K (28″ or above). You can get a 4K monitor pretty cheap but I wouldn’t pick one for gaming over my 1080p/144hz/G-sync

          2. I had the worst monitor currently in the market(21,5” 1080p 60 hz ips). Some people had suggested me to buy 4k monitor and use it on 1440p until my next pc upgrade but i thought that it is not worth it. So i bought a DELLP2416D(1440P 24” 60 HZ IPS) for 290 euros that as i said it is huge upgrade compared to what i had. but comprared to 27” 4k(isaw them running in the same room) not so much of a difference despite the fact that the 4k one costs 2,5, more than this(it costs 670 euros). Do you agree that i did the right thing by buying 1440p or should i had got the 4k one and use it on 1440p until i upgrade my pc?

          3. Personally I think 24″ for 1440p is too small, IPS not ideal if you just game, IPS benefits most for digital art plus IPS has higher response times.Unless you can get a cheap 28″ 4K monitor then stick with what you got. IF you got something like a 1070/1080 then 1440p is the sweet spot.

          4. 28” 4k monitors still costs 500 euros. That why i got 1440p. I wouldnt be able to run max settings anyway even i had got a 4k monitor unltil i upgrade my pc. Who is so crazy to buy a 500+ euros monitor and a 2.000 euros pc in order to play games at max settings 4k? Very very few. My pc can run all games max settings 1440p at 30-40 fps some of them even on 60. The reason i was still on 1080p even though i bought 980 on november 2014 is because i was afraid that 1440p monitor will not fit due to the big size of it(24-27′) but i was wrong. And no 24 is not small. 21,5” is small but 24” and anything biger than it is ok. Compared to 21,5” 1080p 24” 1440p is much much better that what i can say after 1,5 months with this monitor

          5. It is 2500k gtx 970 12 gb ram so 1440p is my only choice until i get 1070 or better and a new cpu

  1. Can’t wait for Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4 on PC. This will be breakthrough for PC gaming. Single cross buy between PC and Xbox, full Direct 12 exclusive. Two more months of waiting

      1. I think that this will be real “breakthrough”. Two most famous Xbox games on PC with full support of DirectX 12. No old DX11 engine. Full exclusive to DX12. For me this is real breakthrough. DX12 FTW!

        1. No a breakthrough would be if the games escaped the closed garden of UWP and made it to steam or gog without being tied as a dx12 exclusive. Exclusive is never a good word in PC gaming seeing as we believe in an open platform.

          1. This will be very hard. MS already said that all their games will be exclusive to DX12 and UWP. Of course all existing shops like GOG or Steam can sell UWP games but I don’t think that this will happen soon.

        2. but only one of thoese 2 famous games is action (gear of war4) i dont care about forza so i will not play it but will play Gears war. Now i have to choose. But Titanfall 2 and battlefield 1 and leave gears of war for later or buy gears of war first and the other 2 later. I have to buy dishonored 2 and watchsogs 2 on november so i have to choose very carefulu

    1. I also can’t wait for forza horizon 3 and Gears of War 4 on steam. This will be breakthrough for PC gaming. Single buy on steam, full access to your game file,no complicated thing called UhWhyPee. Let’s waiting shall we???

  2. So refreshing to see beautiful outdoor environments instead of the usual drab city ones. The game’s an absolute pleasure to look at.

  3. if its running the same as the free one on windows store then i am sold
    one word amazing
also their new anniversary update of windows its super stable and good like windows 7 <3

          1. Yep but it’s not the case. DigitalFoundry had the same problem and tons of other people with better PCs than me.

          2. Well didn’t do much for me but thanks anyway. at least i turned off a useless feature 😀

  4. I just saw the video and while have 1440p monitor(DellP2416D) that i bought it on June 24 it looks amazing. Iam wondering how much better it will look on 4k. There cant be much of a difference as it already looks almost real!

  5. am i the only noticing that the buggy dont get any dirt on it? at the end of the race its spotless clean like it just came out of the factory

  6. Oh man please tell me, are you working for MS marketing ?? This is so awful that kind of garbage marketing for a simple user…
