YouTube’s ‘theRadBrad’ has shared a new video, showing 10 minutes of gameplay footage from Crackdown 3. This gameplay footage is from the game’s single-player mode, so don’t expect any extensive destruction set-pieces. As Microsoft has already stated, only the game’s MP mode will feature enhanced destructibility that will take advantage of the cloud.
Now that this is out of the way, let’s focus a bit on the video. This 10-minute video shows the player free roaming, completing some missions, and using some of his/her abilities. And to be honest, Crackdown 3 seems very similar to Saints Row IV. Not that this is a bad thing, however I was expecting something a bit… more?
But anyway, Crackdown 3 is currently planned for a November 7th release.

Such a shame this game was made with Xbox in mind. The only reason we can’t get single player destruction is because those weak a*s Jaguar CPU cores couldn’t handle it. Oh, and I’d only heard of theRadBrad before, but holy hell is he an obnoxious dumba*s.

He’s one of those YouTubers popular to “CoD youth”. So you naturally won’t find his videos if that group of people disgusts you.
As for the destruction, I’m not sure, but I think it’s complex and not even processors found on good PCs would be able to cope with it well.
My Ryzen 1700 is more than enough powerful for this destruction!
Why aren’t there different games with such a good destruction system, though? I think it’s not without reason. I don’t know if your Ryzen is sufficient, because there has never been a game like this.
Maybe because 8 cores cpus only became affordable on March with the release of Ryzen 1700(390 euros) 1700X(450 euros) and 1800x(500 euros). Until then intel were selling their 8 core cpus(and still are) for 1000+ euros. That made it impossible for most people to buy them. But now with the price of Ryzen 1700 at just 360 euros evryone can buy it and have the 8core/16thread cpu power!!

Why not? Most of us have pc’s much more powerful than xbox x and 1440p or 4k monitor so since my pc is more powerful than xbox x and i have 1440p monitor of course it will look much better on max settings 1440p.
It would need to be a different game on PC to look “amazing”, higher res, better framerate and a few higher settings won’t change how bad it looks.
Higher resolution and higher resolution textures actualy makes games look better. It is also not this game that looks bad but also agent of mayhem middle earth shadow of war and marvel vs capcom infinitie. we can only hope that they will make the ultra settings as good as they need to be to take advantage of hig end pc hardware like 1700-1800x and gtx 1080ti. Do you think that on my 970 and 1440p monitor will look as bad as on a 1080 ti and 4k monitor? Of course on the later it will look better.

a Cellshadded, over the top platformer / shooter, with ridiculous / no story, which looks really bad, and made for console…I never liked Saints Row, and this just seems worse. Not my thing at all, and I find it really weird that Microsoft used this title as one of the “flagship” titles for the ONE X.
The only good game imo that came from Microsoft in the recent years was ori and the blind forest. And it’s sequel is the only game from Microsoft’s upcoming titles that is interesting.
Don’t know what’s gotten into Microsoft that they are only focusing on multiplayer games and what’s worse is they don’t even look good.
Forza Horizon 3 is an excellent racer and it’s running very good on PC since the last patch

The destruction is supposedly still present in the multiplayer, but the fact that the game releases in less than 4 months and we haven’t seen any footage of that mode tells you all you need to know.
